Drilling and Pounding

Lame acting. Silly storyline. Clunky dialogue. And that's the good stuff. It's bad in so many ways. They didn't research the 90s before filming. Lots of inaccuracies. A million better shows to watch.

I understood why the focused was on him (when I realized it was Seth Rogen), but I didn't appreciate it. I'm here for Pam/Lily James, who barely even appeared in this episode.

Also, Tommy and Rand (and even Pam) were not very likeable characters. Will episode 2 and the alleged focus on Pam & Tommy be better...? Not sure I'll get to it, there are too many other shows I prefer.

Was ready to turn it off before the opening credits when I saw the cartoon that was supposed to be Jay Leno and whoever was playing Pam was awful. Figured I'd watch anyway. Didn't improve much, but that got me to raise my score from a 0 to a 3 Not many films where you would say Seth Rogen was the best actor.

I will check out the next episode but not holding out a lot of hope.

I had no expectations coming into this. In parts, it's melodramatic and a bit silly, but overall it's quite good. The framing of narrative is odd though, but then again it's part of the "brand" of celebrities, especially these two.

Quite surprised to see Seth Rogen, I didn't recognise him! It was a small half-grin he did with his mouth that made me go ohhhhhh it's him!

The guy who plays Jay Leno... lol. Terrible.

I don't understand these bad reviews, I was really impressed with the first episode. Sebastian Stan NAILED Tommy Lee (no pun intended), and yes it was over the top, but so is Tommy Lee. Seth Rogan (almost unrecognizable) does a great job of showing us how and why things happened the way they did....you can feel his anger and his need for revenge. I'm really interested to see how the rest of the series. Goes.
