I have only one word to say which is "Beautiful".... I mean this is completely Love ! And the cinematography...uffff awesome! All things was perfectly in their places " but " these seems to be "her story" rather than "his story"! Should have done something more with Kunal or Preet I mean preet's side story ! Anyways will wait for next season definitely! And please bring it on don't leave the incomplete as it is !
I chanced upon His Storyy a web series on Zee5 in orig. Hindi w/Eng.subs .. the subtitles dont work most of the time, but leave that aside for now as also the irritating extra 'y' in the title.
The narration is of a happily married succesful couple (Satyadeep Mishra as Kunal, Priyamani his chef wife Sakshi) with two kids (Nitin Bhatia as teenager Shivi, Mikhail Gandhi as the younger brother Shlok). Everything is going well, they're launching their new fine dining restaurant and Sakshi has invited the dashing Preet (Mrinal Dutt) a food influencer , hoping for a favourable write up. Their marriage goes for a toss as Kunal and Preet meet again after several years and carry forward their intense relationship with one another. How this affects each person involved and various sub plots dealing with societal prejudices, hatred for the 'other' and so forth, are sensitively portrayed in a fairly realistic manner except that reality tends to be a lot worse especially where the hatred part is concerned. Sakshi and Kunal get divorced but the strong family bond remains as they accept each other for who they are. Kunal moves in with Preet. Shivi has become a typical toxic male teen who hates gays and can not accept his father's orientation. He organises a brutal attack on Preet, which Preet forgives as he does not want to hurt Kunal. Kunal and Preet are to get married and Sakshi is hosting the engagement party. But at the very last moment Preet tells Sakshi that he can not get into a marriage, and she must inform Kunal. Season 1 ends on this dramatic note, and hopefully there will be a sequel to carry forward this sensitively portrayed story.
His Story is fictional but there are several such cases where due to society and family pressure, LGBT men and women enter conventional heterosexual marriages with unaware partners and live a life of pretense. In this case Kunal was in a seemingly happy marriage for several years until it all just fell apart as he accepted his true orientation. The issues are depicted in a fairly real, poignant and sensitive manner. It can be far more brutal in reality.
The music was annoying, other than that His Story(y) is a well made and engrossing production.

A good family tragedy drama. Kunal-Sakshi best. All the others also did well.
The series was excellent. Great plot, great performances, and dealt with all the subjects in a very mature way. Only thing, it could have had a better end.
The climax felt like the writers could not come up with a good end so gave that abrupt and unjustified ending. Otherwise, the series is great to watch. All the conversations are also written very well. And kudos to the music of the show - very soulful!
