Psych 3: This Is Gus

I had gotten a little tired of the series at the end, but I found myself loving this movie and enjoying these characters so much.

It is clever and really, really funny. It is also sweet and kind and comforting.

Maybe just what we need in these crazy times.

It's a Psych movie so it's not brilliant art. It's Psych.

Just on the basis of cultural references it's a joy.

Bonus points that all the actors are back and that Curt Smith has a big and funny part.

And the theme song! Who can watch this and not walk away singing it.

I rated it 9 but it could have been a 10. I have nothing negative. It's Psych! It made me smile, and laugh. And cry a little.

I love the original show and I loved the first movie and the second one was fine. This one was different than the other two. It did not focus as much on the mystery as it did on the relationships between the characters. It had a good story but it was kind of all over the place. But, this movie was still really good and really funny and a great addition to the series. It may have been cheesy at times but I still enjoyed watching it and would recommend it to anyone psych fan out there. Now go and watch this movie.

Touched all the right bases . Will make you want more if you are a fan . Would have liked to have seen more from the old gang but with limited time it was nice seeing them anyway. The chemistry on screen is still there. I really wish they could do the same thing for Chuck .

It's incredible that everyone can slip right into these characters again so flawlessly. It's like they were never away. Though the mystery aspect might be mediocre and they aren't solving a crime, this show and the movies rely mostly on the character interactions and that's absolutely top notch once again!

Gus is getting married and Shawn is determined to do a background check on his bride Selene. On the other hand, Juliet is determined to be the godmother to the couple's unborn baby. Lassiter is his own chief but he needs the boys to solve his cases.

The gang is back. The boys are still the boys. This is basically two episodes of the TV show. Fans will like this. Newcomers will figure this out rather quickly. These are easy irreverent characters. They still have their chemistry. The main cast is back and the show squeezes everybody back in whether they fit or not. The funniest section may be the Wham video. This is also setting up for more movies.
