I gi tis elias

This is by far one of the worst shows, worldwide, on any platform. I don't even understand what strings the writer had to pull to be accepted in the greek scene. The scenario is the following: "today i made greek spanakopita, do you want some?" This is exactly the show 99% of the time. Please give chances to talented people that they actually write and produce something worth watching even as background noise. The actors are decent but they can't do alot with that script. The scenery is okay because is based on a beatiful place called Mani. The first episodes are filmed in Cyprus. Again, please don't allow untalented people represent our country. Thank you.

I grew up in the Mani and the depiction of the characters and the overall scenery is perfect. Covers all traditional Maniot themes of revenge, honor and passion.

Very slow show. They add unnecessary characters ,plots, dialogues, scenes to produce more episodes out of nothing. There is clearly a lack of a main plot.

It's a huge disappointment with the show's decline in quality, particularly in Season 4. While it was once simple and enjoyable-especially for watching with a parent with dementia-it now suffers from poor writing and inconsistent character development. Formerly likeable characters have become shallow or unlikable, engaging in unrealistic drastic character changes (ie Poti) while others are engaging in unrealistic and forced relationships (the doctor is way too old for Vasiliki-it's cringy and not believable!). This season also introduced too many unnecessary characters that had dull stories (ie Poti's family, the doctor, etc).

The show also drags out emotional storylines (deaths) excessively, making it dull. Despite a few good actors, the weak writing overshadows their performances. Overall, I find the fourth season frustrating and a waste of time.

Plot of the story is all over the place loaded with tons of actors which in most cases the inexperience of some is visible. The writing seems to be recycled story lines that go from character to character. One person runs into issues of going broke, same thing happens to the next character. Rewriting to keep this series going to the point where it becomes annoying and a joke.
