Action! Action!

I caught Action! Action! Last night and was genuinely surprised-in the best way possible. It's a fun, lighthearted ride with all the classic elements you want from an action movie: wild car chases (yes, right through Vegas!), fight scenes, explosions, and a lead you can root for.

Adam Kilbourn, a true Vegas local, not only directed but also starred in the film-and you can feel the heart and hometown pride throughout. From iconic spots like the Mob Museum to the vibrant energy of Circa, the film brings Vegas to life as more than just a backdrop-it's a character in itself.

Bonus: the pyrotechnics were top notch.

This movie doesn't take itself too seriously, which is part of its charm. It's the kind of film that reminds you why we love action flicks in the first place. If you're looking for a good time and want to support indie filmmaking with real talent behind (and in front of) the camera, Action! Action! Is a must-see.

Well, that was a delight to watch! Fun and action-packed - with a great storyline and strong acting, too. There was a solid sense of humor woven through the whole movie, and I was impressed with the production quality, the special effects and stunts, and the cast. Sometimes I find movies like this lose the plot or the momentum towards the end, but not this one! My dad and I love to watch action movies together, and I took him to see it with me. We laughed, we were drawn into the plot, and we had a good chat afterwards, too -- all of which makes for a great movie to me! If you value how you spend your time, like I do, and want to watch something entertaining -- definitely check this out.

A phenomenally fun throw back to classic action movies. Done with style and humor and yep...you guessed it. Loads of action. Director, Writer, Producer, and Actor Adam Kilborn uses his hometown of Las Vegas Nevada as the backdrop for this fun indie film that feels like a big budget studio picture. Using the city as a backdrop about a heist gone sideways...this picture (almost wanted to say flick there because it's just a wonderful escape) has everything you are looking for. Superbly acted. Wonderfully directed. And...yeah I'll say it just entertaining as hell. It's getting some play in select markets but if it comes to your city you would do yourself a disservice not to check this out on the big screen. It's a romp. It's exciting. It's just straight out fun.

I didn't know what to expect walking into this movie, only given the name it would have a lot of action. But the film became more than that. Besides amazing action, it carries a lot of humor and fun moments, qualities that any moviegoer can enjoy. The cast is great and you can tell they all had a lot of fun working together. The fight choreography feels energetic and raw alongside the amazing practical effects. Definitely would see this again. There's influences from Mission Impossible, John Wick and James Bond with touches of The Hangover. Overall Im glad to have seen this and I urge everyone else to check it out .

Last weekend, I caught Action! Action!, an indie action flick directed by and starring Adam Kilbourn, and what a ride! This movie is for grabbing a bucket of popcorn, kicking back, and letting the car chases, explosions, and fistfights wash over you. It's here to show you a good time, and it totally delivers.

The story follows a group of friends hired to swipe Al Capone's last painting from the Mob Museum in downtown Vegas. Big surprise - everything goes nuts, and you're in a world double-crosses, screeching tires, and stuff blowing up left and right.

Adam throws himself into the lead role, and you can tell he's having a blast. He's got this charm that makes you root for him, whether he's dodging bullets or throwing punches. The cast, all Vegas locals, brings some great synergistic energy. A car chase through Vegas, fight scenes with kung fu kicks that feel like they came out of an old-school action flick. And the explosions are out of a big budget blockbuster. Plus, the movie's got this goofy sense of humor that keeps things light.

Action! Action! Pulled off something special with a tiny budget, making Vegas shine and proving indie films can pack a punch. I walked out grinning, already wanting to see it again with my friends. If you're down for a night of pure, unfiltered action movie madness, hunt this one down.
