More than Blue: The Series

Despite knowing what will be the end of this drama from the very start still you feel like this drama is pulling you like a magnet to watch it.

After finishing it I felt a weird kind of heaviness on my heart.

The story and execution is so perfect that you would not want to stop untill the end. The cinematography was so gentle despite the sad story. This is the beauty of Taiwanese drama. They put extra effort to palettes (they use warm colour tone which soothes your eyes), editing and long shots.o

The story is definitely about our main leads but 2 sub storylines has accompanied it and it connected so beautifully that when 1 plot changed to another plot you will start missing the previous plot.

I also loved how they used similar sets but with different angles, the way it was shot was very stunning as well.

Also you can easily differentiate between two timelines as well, as those has been edited amazingly smooth.

OST: All OSTs are pure love. All songs matched perfectly with the storylines. Songs are not any less sad than the story which makes them more soulful.

Lastly, this drama definitely deserves more viewers and praise. I hope I have able to convince you to watch this painful but beautiful piece of art.

Impeccable acting from all the main characters, especially Cream and K. The series is just so much better than the 2018 film, with the plot expanded to develop deeper into their stories and relationship. Post-shooting editing and soundtrack were also perfect, which demonstrated the highest quality ever seen in any Taiwanese series.

Wow, what a beautiful series. It's so intense. The actors played their role very well. Especially Fandy Fan. He was totally into character, you saw the sorrow in his eyes.

The relationship between K. And Cream was so beautiful. Their chemistry was great. Every small gestures between them made my heart skip a beat. It was so strong. Their love was so deep. The kiss they had was the most breakable and yet powerful one I have ever seen.

Their story was so unbelievable sad. He sacrificed so much for love. But at the end of the series you understand also she did.

I cried several times watching this series.

The second couple had a beautiful story to tell as well.

The songs were beautiful and meaningful.

I stopped watching Asian drama for a while cause I couldn't find anything that moved me anymore, but this one was the perfect choice. Don't know why I waited so long to see this one... Without a doubt it comes on my favourites list.

A young female student with a tragic past suddenly shows up at a school and starts to bully a male student who is also experiencing tragedy. We later find the reason but from this initial conflict a bond grows between them. When the boy is diagnosed with leukaemia he puts all his efforts into finding a partner for his friend. Yes it is cheesy and designed to pull at your heart strings but it does a vey good job at doing that. Well acted by the cast with another tragic side story running alongside the main one, and if you do not shed a tear at least once you are emotionally dead.

I tried watching this series because the original film is my favorite movie, but then it turns out I love this series more! Actually this is the first ever Taiwan drama I have watched. I cried so hard and the casting are perfect for their role, I really love their acting!! They successfully wrenched my heart into pieces. I guess it will take some time to move on. I. Love. This. Series. Everything is perfect, cinematography, dialogue, casting and the most important for me is THE OST. The ost of this drama is the best.
