Being teacher, I was impressed by the realism of story. In a classroom, you are real lucky than you have only one Stanley. His terribilis, egocentrism, the certitudes of age , mixed with vulnerability and all baggage of a young teenager are exposed, in honest, precise manner, by this film who has as catch especially the title- reminding the film from 1984 by Alan Parker.
So, pure reality. Or good story. Or inspired acting. A young woman, ex babysitter at his yearly age of a 14 years old boy becomes, after call of his mother, a sort of superviser of him. Her try to craft a conversation falls - he is too old for have need by babysitter. So, in his room , isolated, explores his radical world. A sound changes everything.
Exactly the feeling to see a slice from near reality gives the interest for this short film.
