Orchestra Mysuru

Wonderfully made movie. Simple story presented very well. Lovely and cute movie with super perfect acting by all. Story is the main lead actor here and hence no 'overrated'', overacting' and 'ugly' scenes or dialogues. Every scene carries the story forward. It presents the story of every Orchestra musicians, layer by layer. No scene is out of place. No character is unwanted. Screenplay and dialogue is pure, simple and realistic. Music is lovely. 'Nadiyondu' is one of the best Kannada film songs in recent years. 'Haaduve' song gives goose bumps with its symphonic crescendo in the end. Raghu Dixit has done wonders with his music. Poorna as Poorna is closer to your heart and you feel for him despite his web of lies. Orchestra Mysuru is one of the cleanest and beautiful made in Kannada in recent years. Hats off to the team.

The sheer naturalness of this film disproves the notion that success is a selfish goal, which is what the filmmakers have achieved. More tales like this one, with their less showy presentation of what they have to say, should be told.

The movie can keep you interested despite its length, with the exception of the predictable finish. The pattern is largely conveyed through the story of dreams and adversity, but what jumps out most is the honesty with which emotions are handled. It keeps its heart in the right place throughout.

It's clear that "Orchestra Mysore" is a beautiful film for this festival.

Sunil Mysuru and team's ambitious project is honest to the core but gets tad bit pulled back by the slow narrative and long runtime which is close to 3hrs. Firmly aided by Raghu Dixit's music, the world of orchestra is well built and not to forget the support provided by Dileep Raj as Orchestra Star Naveen Raj. The research behind the world of orchestra completely shows as the makers claim it to be based on the real life experiences of Naveen Sajju and Raghu Dixit.

Poornachandra is an aspiring singer searching for a breakthrough. He loves singing and only seeks the chance to sing. He approaches Naveen Raj for a chance to join his orchestra team hoping to get a chance to sing. But Naveen Raj is focused on his single goal to sing at Yuva Dasara, an opportunity not given to local orchestra singers and this has made him an ignorant towards fellow artists. How Poorna makes it as a singer by overcoming the challenges thrown by Naveen Raj forms the story.

The detailing in presenting the life of orchestra singers, capturing Mysuru, good performances and music are it's strength. The slow pace does hinder the flow till a song carries the story forward. The humor works well too. With a crisp runtime, the film could've made a lasting impact as the third act is beautifully conceptualized between Poorna and Naveen Raj.

A must watch tale of underdog not to be missed on big screen. Its an experience one must not miss.

Orchestra Mysuru is the movie that is so full of fascinating insights into the vibrant orchestra Culture of Mysuru. It is the story that celebrates talent, hardwork, perseverance, determination, strong will power and success. It also give us an insight into the illustrious lives of the orchestra artists in mysuru. The magic of Music has reached the world through this movie. This movie introduced me to the fact that the singers in mysuru live and breath the culture of orchestra. This movie helped me to understand the efficacy of confidence to believe in myself. This movie gives us the courage to push our limits, Challenge our beliefs, our notions and our mindset and it also gives us the courage to indulge in big new scary ideas we've always been scared of. Pursuing our passion is the goal. Orchestra Mysuru is truly an epic movie on all fronts. It's a must watch!

Watched on prime and I can say it's honest try by the makers of the movie.

The pace of the movie in the start could have been more fast and more budget could have made this movie more entertaining and justifiable.

I wish more people should have watched in theatres for such kind of movies as where is live not many Kannada movies gets released. Poorna comman man loves to sing is the plot. The screenplay is in a slow pace and ends it beautifully.

A swamake Kannada movie with real and pure emotional story.

Don't miss this movie if you are passionate about something you do and have been suppressed by someone this story connects you quickly.

Not a weekend time pass movie. Lot to be learnt from the story.
