फ़ीचर्ड समीक्षाएं
I honestly thought Season 1 wasnt very good, but I kept watching, and somehow it sucked me in. Season 2 is where this show grows to something really interesting at times but still keeps its overly dramatic young adult stuff, it could've been so much better.
This show has some decent Star Trek-like episodic stories. Captain Garnet even has a classic Captain Janeway's "What the hell is going on?!" moment.
I like the difference yet similarity of the spaceships, establishing their own distinct style for the show.
Maddox vs. Trust was a decent plot with some good backstory.
The augmented superhuman Kelly with nanites was a decent subplot because it has some obvious holes.
The GSA vs. EF subplot was also pretty good.
Pavle Jerinic as Felix and Paul Murray as William Trust were great casting choices, they did a great job.
I liked it because it felt like a cheesy '90s sci-fi show with no budget, like using Reece Ritchie to play both Spencer and Ian was a clever way to cut costs.
With that ending? I would love to find out what happened with the other Arks and the colonists at Ross-128B. Higher life?
Its clearly setting up a Season 3 right?
It feels a bit like they are building toward a Star Fleet kind of thing and im all for that!
Hope for Season 3 and a movie!

Is it reinventing the wheel? No. Is it deep thinking or brilliant? No not really.
As someone who watched BSG and the expense, but fully enjoyed the likes of the 100, it's worth a shot.
Easy downtime tv series that generates enough intrigue and interest to watch. But also isn't so in depth that it requires 100% of your attention.
Easy watch, low budget, and the show runners clearly see that. The show knows its audience, writing isn't the A** of previous sifi shows, but it is such a chill fun watch. I'd compare it to SNOWPIECER standard.
Overall a fun easy watch and I'd recommend it to any sifi geek who's looking for a fun binge.

As it now stands, this series is underrated. Since I am very tough when I rate something, I sincerely do not understand all the hate it has been getting. While it's certainly not a high budget endeavor, they clearly make the most of it. Next, there are plenty of mysteries to keep one's interest while attempting to figure them out. The characters are both likable and unlikeable, simultaneously, which is another interesting draw; the investment leading one to find out which side they ultimately land.
Frankly, I'll stick with an average show basically because there's so little out there that's any good nowadays. But this is something I'm not just watching to kill time. I'm guessing those giving a rock bottom low rating watched the first episode and bailed before giving it the time it deserves. Definitely not a "10" but much better than the current rating [4.0] indicates.
In the end, I believe I already know what the big twist will be. I won't spoil it, but I'm never wrong when it comes to these things. For those who keep watching you'll see that I'm right.

You've read some reviews where people refer to the CGI as bad. This is true. You've also heard that the acting is sub par, which is also true. The biggest "oof", as it were, is also in the writing of the show, not just the character interactions, but the characters themselves, and the science.
The show goes out of its way to sort of establish a set of rules for the space that the people here inhabit, how life functions, and so forth, then 5 minutes later they break those rules. Science all of a sudden doesn't matter, and it is all about resolving whatever issue it is that they are experiencing while creating even more chaos.
These people are also supposed to be highly skilled in the fields that they work in, but 99% of the time they behave like high-schoolers. Their actions makes no sense at all.
Nothing in this show is realistic, nothing makes any sense. It is all rush-rush-rush, survive, argue, technical mumbo-jumbo word vomit, and magical skills.
I felt thoroughly frustrated throughout the first episode. Vehemently shaking my head whilst shouting at my screen.
It isn't worth the trouble, nor the dissatisfaction that you will experience.

Like a lot of reviews listed here, I was not impressed with the first couple of episodes (bad acting, bad plot, bad f/x, etc.), but I stuck it out, and am glad I did. The characters have developed nicely, not every episode is "disaster of the week," and subplots are intriguing. I've begun to care about the characters, which is a 180 flip from when I first started watching.
It's always tough to figure out how good/bad a show is going to be after the first episode; especially with a large cast. But the writers have done a good job with creating depth, and some surprises along the way.
As a sci-fi show, the f/x are minimal and middle of the road CG; just enough to let you know it's a show in space.
The Ark is not great, but is getting better with each episode.

- ट्रिवियाApparently, gravity on the ship is maintained by rotating sections. There is no explanation offered for the gravity in the non-rotating sections, such as the bridge, the showers, the shuttle, and the farm dome.
- गूफ़Shots of the ship moving use the traditional sci-fi trope of stars zooming past to indicate motion. However, the ship is on its way to Proixma, which is the closest star to Earth. There would be no stars for them to pass on their journey.
