All Girls

Let's be honest: nothing in the description of All Girls prepared me for this. I genuinely expected a much duller story, but this short film completely caught me off guard.

Put simply, it's deeply disturbing. The listed genres include horror, horror comedy, and body horror-but I'd also add psychological horror to the mix. In fact, it's hard to pinpoint the most accurate genre for All Girls, as it blends elements from several.

The story follows four girls hiking in the wilderness, trying to beat a record as part of a school competition. It's already a psychologically demanding challenge-racing against time and the forces of nature-but here, their perseverance and obsession with winning push the efforts and sacrifices to a whole new level.

It's a wild film, but I'm glad I watched it.
