Ishq Vishk Rebound

This film has nothing to give to this gen or the generation of the old movie....its a simple very average forgetable rom com which tried to shine using the old films fame and nostalgia....the casting and direction is so lame that even today generation wont relate with the movie!!

There are no memorable characthers like the old movie had....mambo and GS are still legends whose jokes are still remembered!

They cud have really worked on the cast to make them likable....the biggest flaw is lack of research!!

The film lacks any solid connections with todays youth and neither does it resonate with the original films fans!!

In the era of situationships and breadcrumbing, when most love stories are too complicated for their own good, director Nipun Dharmadhikari's romantic comedy comes as a breath of fresh air. The latest entry in the Ishq Vishk (2003) franchise is about three childhood best friends: Raghav (Rohit Saraf), Sanya (Pashmina Roshan), and Sahir (Jibraan Khan). Sanya and Sahir's on-again, off-again relationship constantly drags Raghav into the drama. When the couple breaks up simultaneously with Raghav and Riya (Naila Grrewal), Raghav and Sanya find themselves in a rebound romance. But will this 'ishq vishk' fling mess up their lifelong friendship ?

Packed with laughs, the first half shows Raghav hilariously juggling his friendships and new fling. From Raghav stealing Sahir's dog to him going on a 'haunting trip' with Sanya, the delightful sequences are thoroughly entertaining. Written by Vaishali Naik, Vinay Chhawal, and Ketan Pedgaonkar, the movie is also a window to modern love: Raghav believes relationships are baggage-free transactions, justifying his rebound with Sanya. The narrative also touches upon how familial ties complicate romantic relationships. For example, Sanya's broken home makes her confrontational, often causing friction with Sahir, as he is pressured by his iron-fisted and abusive father, causing their break-up. The film advocates for self-discovery and finding happiness beyond romantic entanglement.

The film's pace slows down in the second half as the group's complicated relationships become repetitive. The initial premise of Raghav attempting to mirror his story in his film's script does not land. Some plot points, like Riya's lingering jealousy towards the trio's bond, aren't fully fleshed out. Although well-choreographed, slick, and foot-tapping, the songs break the narrative flow in the latter half. Rochak Kohli's melodious Rehmat, and the remakes of Chot Dil Pe Lagi and Ishq Vishk Pyaar Vyaar make for a good soundtrack.

Rohit Saraf steals the show with his impeccable comedic timing and effortless delivery. He seamlessly breaks the fourth wall, captivating viewers with his character's journey. Pashmina Roshan is impactful in the role of a troubled and immature young girl who blames her immaturity on her broken family. Jibraan Khan also performs ably, and Naila Grrewal delivers a serviceable performance in her limited role.

Ishq VIshk Rebound is a film for Gen Z. While older viewers might not fully connect with its portrayal of modern love, the humour, engaging performances, and entertainment value make it a decent one-time watch.

Movies story is not fresh it's same ,, Songs are good , cast is good , sets , outfits , songs all was good except story u think they should have work on stories ,, Rohit was charismatic and light if the screen I think rohit deserves better story because he has lot of potential, jibran and pashmina should have got better debut though it's decent naila was good ,, overall everything was good except story it was decent,, and this story has nothing do with OG ishq vishq only title and songs are same rest is different,, I think rohit, pashmina , jibran, naila interview were good then movie ,, i enjoyed interview s.

Ishq Vishk Rebound is without a doubt an average rom com movie from Bollywood which has outdated storyline of friendship love locha than actually i'm fed-up with this concept wherein performance by way of Rohit Saraf changed into sincerely excellent he is the guy of all time within the film so fascinating and soothing in his position, Jibraan become decent and looked warm Pashmina Roshan became absolutely first rate and her performance changed into a ways higher than other new comers and All others actors like kusha and every supporting solid sincerely proper within the film. Music and songs are accurate but not bad. They didn't make it Lengthy that thing is good. If you have most effective unfastened time or you like rom coms then handiest you watch Ishq vishk rebound do not expect more from this. Instead of making film webseries will be more entertaining.

Overall i'll select the old one. (shahid kapoor) Not this one.

This movie was so boring and slow. Alot of talking.

The opposite of original movie Ishq Vishk- No connection.

While watching I had to fast forward the movie.

The only thing I enjoyed in this movie was 1 song.

There is no storyline and continuity.

Ending did not make sense.

I was really disappointed with this movie, I thought it would be like the original movie.

All new actors were used. So made the movie more boring.

Not surprised this was a flop movie.

Im not sure how some people rated this 9 or 10- must be the movie crew/family and friends.

Good luck getting new movies to the new cast.
