फ़ीचर्ड समीक्षाएं
I liked it. Good plot, well acted. Special effects were pretty good too for the budget. We laughed Outlook a few times. We liked it. Would recommend it.
I like Asylum movies.... some of their mockbusters are enjoyable. And sometimes they make really good stuff, like Z-Nation.
I liked Thor: God of Thunder. They managed to tell a lot about norse mythology, so that was a good thing. It's not a good movie, but watchable. Thor was nice and not the worst actor, really. But there was a bit too much of the "emotional" scenes where he cried out his dispair. Myrom Kingery, you did a good job.
The rest of the cast was very uneven. It was fun to see how they waited for their chance to act... to say their lines. It was kind of a lesson in how not to do it. Sometimes it was a bit cringe and Loki was terrible. But I guess I'm spoiled by the "real" Loki, Tom Hiddleston. The hair was good, though. And I can understand his anger when his guards in the dungeon was eating all his olives. I would call on my friend, Fenrir for revenge too.
Vaune Suitt, as dr. Grace Choi was sometimes ok, sometimes... not. But again, the hair was great. There is no need to talk about the other actors. Well, maybe Odin, Vernon Wells. I don't remember his hair, but the eye was very Odin-ish. And sometimes he did some good acting. I think maybe the cheesy conversations made it hard to do a better job.
Lokis staff was looking like it was made by a fourth grader, the eartquakes was obviously shaky camera and Thor, pretending to sit in a viking ship using a tiny paddle thingy was out of this world!
But the tsunami was not bad. At least not as bad as Fenrir who was looking like he had escaped from a cartoon.
All in all, not a bad Asylum movie. The first part was fine, actually. The rest was fun. Like bad movie fun. If you like bad movies that make you smile, this one is for you.

This is absolutely the most horrible, awful, tragic movie I have ever seen..
We used a few movie coupon to watch it what a waste..
After 7 agonizing minutes we turned it off....
Actors were C scale.. if that.. why would they want to be associated with this movie in any way..
Right, well there is no secret here, that I wasn't harboring a single expectation to the 2022 mockbuster "Thor: God of Thunder" from The Asylum. I mean, just take a look at the movie's cover/poster and you know what you're in for here.
And then the fact that the most famous actor on the cast list was Vernon Wells, then you just know that you're not exactly in for a top of the line production here. However, I still opted to give "Thor: God of Thunder" a fair chance, as it does happen every now again on a blue moon, that The Asylum actually churns out a movie worthwhile watching.
"Thor: God of Thunder", however, was not really one of those instances.
The storyline in the movie, as written by Steve Doucette was pretty generic and straight forward. In fact, it did turn out to be as you would expect from The Asylum really. And if you are familiar with the more dubious of mockbusters from The Asylum, then you know what you are getting here.
The acting in the movie was adequate. I mean, you're not in for anything that will harvest any awards, and given the limitations of the script, then the actors and actresses did fair enough with what they had to work with.
The special effects in "Thor: God of Thunder" were somewhat dubious. Now, I will say that this wasn't exactly among the worst of CGI and special effects ever seen in movies from The Asylum. But nor were the special effects particularly grand or impressive.
My rating of "Thor: God of Thunder" lands on a generous four out of ten stars.

At one point Thor says "It is never too late, to give up hope" as if that is supposed to lift someone's spirits...that had us laughing hysterically. The acting was fairly wooden, script was bad. CGI was decent for frenrir though, better than I had expected.
