राज़ 3

It definitely has to start with Bipasha Basu,the SHOW STEALER of the movie. Bipasha Basu is both hero and a villain in the movie.She left no stones unturned if you look into her acting talents. With portraying the struggle of an actor's life to attain fame and success,Bipasha is in her best shoes this time. She caught the character in a very apt and accurate manner.

With script being weightless and the horror scenes looking funny or to laugh at,the movie on a whole is not one to be scared of. Sanjana(Esha Gupta) is very average.Though looking beautiful in most of the scenes she has to work really hard on her acting and dancing skills. Emraan this time got to be in good terms with both the actresses(kissing scenes!!)definitely,he has done justice to his role but again Bips has overshadowed him in almost every term due her profound expression, psyche behavior and arrogance . Well plotted, really! The movie is an amalgam of vendetta, jealousy, conflict, drama and sexuality.With showcasing the staunch Indian beliefs about black magic and all again our young generation need logic behind everything which this movie lacks a lot.The so-called famous cockroach scene enacted by Esha did not have a goosebumps effect either.So watch it for fun,not to be scared.~ Sheetal Sharma for ratemovieshere.com

With Raaz 3, the Bhatt camp continues to explore the viewer's fascination with the afterlife and the occult, liberally borrowing plot elements from a host of Hollywood movies that have acquired a cult following. These would at least include "The Exorcist" (priest exorcism), "House of Wax" (abandoned studio), "Resident Evil" (close-ups of freaky monster), "Nightmare on Elm Street" (the girl can't sleep), "Drive-thru" and "We all scream for ice-cream" (for the scary clown).

Apparently, the Bhatt camp took the misquoted sentence "Copying from one source is plagiarism, copying from multiple sources is Research" in a plain wrong way. In the words of Emraan Hashmi from this very movie, do they think the audience is dumb enough not to care about this kind of "chutia-paa"? Come on, Mr. Bhatt, give us something original, just sprinkling some Indian flavour where Ganeshji loans a trident to the hero so he can fight Evil in the end doesn't quite absolve you of plagiarism.

The worst part is the didactic manner in which the Bhatts explain stuff about the afterlife; almost, as if Class 6 students are being introduced to a History subject. "This is called Black Magic", "This potion of water is laced with black magic", "Now you go to the world of souls where you fight the baddies", "If God doesn't answer your prayer, come to the Devil. He might help you." Every time one of these dialogues flashed on screen, I couldn't help but yawn.

The only redeeming feature about this movie is Bipasha Basu. I think she showed some strong conviction in her acting - Esha and Emraan looked jaded and Esha's histrionics were a bit over-the-top. Manish Chaudhary, I generally consider him a good actor but this time, he somewhat failed to convince in the role of Satan.

The Third Intallment in the Raaz Series, 'Raaz 3' is a Spooky & Entertaining Film, that is nicely written, fabulously directed & efficiently acted. Its surely among the better films of 2012!

'Raaz 3' tells the story of a film director, who must save his love from the black magic of a wicked woman who has become blind in love, lust and passion.

'Raaz 3' is about ambition, success, failure, love, hate & black magic. Maverick Filmmaker Vikram Bhatt directs this spooky fare fabulously. He handles the film sharply from start to end. Shagufta Rafique's Screenplay is a great mix of horror & entertainment. Cinematography by Pravin Bhatt is excellent. Editing is fair. Music by Jeet Ganguly, Mithoon & Rashid is decent.

Performance-Wise: Bipasha Basu is deliciously despicable & she's terrific. She steals every scene she's in & is the soul of the film. Emraan Hashmi gives a spirited performance, as always. Esha Gupta doesn't disappoint. Manish Chowdhary & Mohan Kapoor are perfect in supporting roles.

On the whole, 'Raaz 3' works big time. Recommended!

Plot of the movie is quite familiar and very much predictable(as per shown in promos)...

Plot :A superstar (Bipasha)is at the verge of her downfall, she wants to seek revenge on the New rising star (Esha). She chooses the path of evil(Black magic). A director(Emraan) who is under her debt and is in "Love" with her helps in doing this.

Note: Trust me, what follows next is very much predictable and like every other movie of this kind. So we see the movie only to know how it is Executed!!!

I Liked : Few shots(2/3) in first half which were quite scary, like suddenly some weird face appears on screen. Bips-Imran scene where she convince him to help her(Far better than Jism2).Bipasha Basu's acting was quite convincing and enjoyable(Compared to other actors), but cannot be even compared with RAAZ.

I "Laughed" and "Cried" at Times Because of : Plot holes. There were many places where whatever was going on Looked childish and ridiculous. The Other world "Aatmaon ki dunia" is not at all convincing, we don't get to know what this world exactly is...When Bips decides to kill Esha we get to hear a dialog as dump as,"Satana/Tadpana to SHAITAN ke hathon me hai par maut BHAGWAN ke hathon me" (Then how come that Atma was able to kill Maid and Priest). Bipasha has to "****" that Atma to provide him strength to kill Esha!!! It was really very Ridiculous and towards end Bipasha is shown breaking the door with a single kick, and kills the doctor(She would have killed Esha instead anyways she became a murderer!!! LOL )... Even the dialogs are damn dumb(You can really enjoy passing comments on them if watch this one with group). At places Emraan's character don't react at all... At one place we see, a person next to Esha is cut into Head and body... She screams and a ZERO expression Emran says "Calm down!!! lets go from here." as if its regular for him to see all this.

There are many more places where we think 'What the crap is going on!!!'.Some dialogs are really weired and ridiculous. End is not very convincing. Overall unlike RAAZ this movie has nothing to live up to the name "RAAZ3" and "Bhatt camp" movie.

This is movie is a dumb effort to continue the RAAZ legacy.

The story is okay. Direction is cheap. Cast has acted dumb - all three of them. The extras are funny!

The music is bad and so is the background music.

If you watch the movie you will understand what I am talking about. I will not recommend this movie at all.

I also want Vikram Bhatt to stop making horror movies for the sake of making one.

If u really want to watch RAAZ, watch RAAZ 1.
