Great visuals but nothing more

I have to say, Countdown is visually stunning. This animated short feels like Halo but with the visuals turned up to eleven. That said, there isn't much more to it. Essentially, we follow the crash landing of a spaceship and its crew on an inhospitable planet, primarily from the perspective of a lone survivor. I'm not sure why he was the one to survive, but that's the director's choice. If you're expecting a long post-crash struggle for survival or a rescue mission, that's not going to happen-it's made clear right from the start. Still, it's a visually striking disaster piece.
