A decent season
I was impressed with the 4th season of You. The showrunners do a good job of reinventing the character and new situations that are intriguing. The season's setting in the UK worked well and the new rich and wealthy entourage of Jonathan Moore worked.
Praise to the writing of this season. I think television in the last few decades has gotten the audience to embrace and even root for the anti-hero. If we think of Tony Soprano from The Sopranos, we rooted for the mobster despite despicable acts. The same applies to Jo Goldberg, we forgive and allow his dark deeds. The writing and plot twist with Rhys Montrose turned things on its head. The writers reminded us clearly this season how evil and damaged Joe is. He is not a character that we should sympathise with, his mentality and actions are shocking. The plot twist to show how he is the real culprit and the conclusion of how he embraces the depths of his darkness closes out any doubt of how sinister he is. He is no longer chasing virtue and being a good person. Goodness will only show as much as his dark personality will allow and he accepts this.

What a comeback
The first half of the season didn't catch me that much. I thought about whether I've grown out of the show. But the second half was pretty refreshing; the season finale is nothing short of a blast. I like the darkness of it. The notion of Joe integrating his shadow. It feels like the ending is not trying to please anybody. It is stone cold as it should be. Most of the cast of the first half of the season is gone which makes it almost feel like a new season, without all the murder mystery vibe that I personally wasn't a fan of. It was like the heart of You was beating again and made the whole thing come back to life. I was actually engaged with the characters again, which created tension, rage, and all the emotions that attracted me to You in the first place. It really was an experience as it was in season one. Great comeback. Enjoy your night!
Getting used to his creepiness
You: Season Four on Netflix continues the story of Joe Goldberg as he continues his obsessive ways of falling for the wrong person and ends up in Paris. He changes his identity and gets a professor gig in London as Jonathan Moore. Penn Badgley enters into another highly rich group of friends that end up getting killed one by one. Unfortunately Jonathan was the center of their lives and Joe does not believe he is the actual killer. Joe becomes delusional and realizes he is talking with Ed Speleers who is launching a political career. Tati Gabrielle reprises her role as Joe's former love interest and he has her captured in his glass vault. Greg Kinnear played a role as Kate's powerful estranged father, Kate is played by Charlotte Ritchie. The first half of the series is structured as whodunit while the second half is inspired by Fight Club. Overall it was a good series but not as good the third season with a fifth and final season is in the works.
Justice for Nadia!
I found myself thinking its boring somewhere in the middle of the 4th season, but then the last two or three episodes came.
Although we already saw this 'character development' in countless movies I still found the ending pretty decent. The very last few minutes were actually amazing.
However the only reason I came here is to just say one thing: Nadia's storyline broke my heart </3.. It was so cold and...and...
Also why are six hundred characters needed for a review? Would I get a grade for that or what? If I need to write six hundred characters I better get some credit for it! Aaaand done!

Honestly The Best Season Yet
It has the darkness of Season 1, or even more darkness. It has the plot twists of Season 2, or even more plot twists. And most importantly it has none of the filler episodes which more than half of Season 3 consists of. And this one has the best ending because after this conclusion I wait Season 5 more than I waited any previous seasons. But let's not talk only about the story because this season is outstanding thanks to its cinematography and its soundtrack. After what happened in the last five minutes of this episode I can see only one outcome for the whole story but this series can't stop to surprise me so I can't wait to see how it will end for good.
