Just My Type

This was a super fun film to watch. I really enjoyed it and wanted to see more of the main leads. Brittany Carel (Michelle) is super adorable and I can see how she could be the next breakout star. The film is quirky and funny. Lots of colorful characters coming in and out. I love the beginning scene at the TV station, it's so zany and crazy.

The setting is in Miami and the filmmakers made the right choices with their locations. It's very hard to make a good romantic comedy feature film work, it takes a great team that knows how to bring together the right elements. Great job to all!

I recommend watching this with your date and be prepared to laugh out loud!

Bravo was a great film from start to finish. Jill and her production company put a lot into this into this movie . Great idea on making a movie about making a production. So many of the aspects on making a movie and the things that happen are included in this production, being an actor and watching things that happen during productions and see them happen in Just My type made me laugh. I'm glad I watched it..

I would not be surprised if this was turned into a sitcom - movie reminds me of the sitcoms they had back in the 1990s.

It's a good sign when a movie ends and you find yourself wishing it was longer. That was exactly my experience with this one. Just My Type is an indie which is a mix of The Office, 30 Rock, and The Morning Show all rolled into one. A whole pot full of crackpot characters fill the screen in a domino line of sketches as each of their ongoing storylines weaves throughout each other. Snappy dialogue, quick deliveries, and high-energy music ensure there is never a dull moment. I found myself chuckling throughout.

Even though this was not a pilot, I could see these characters continuing on and part of me hopes there is more in the works from writer/director/actor Jill melody.

The story was unique, the acting was great, and I really enjoyed this laugh out loud movie. I highly recommend this flick to anyone that has a good sense of humor. A big bonus for me was that it was about Miami, because I live in Florida. These days it's really nice to watch a movie that is fun, quirky and not too serious. I would love to see this made into a series. I recommend you kick back and relax with some popcorn 🍿and meet the fun characters in this film. The characters are diverse, they are all different ages and from various backgrounds, each possessing their own style & characteristics. Just like the tagline says, "Up Next Shenanigans", lots of mischief to take in! I truly enjoyed this fun film.

Once in a while you stumble upon a feel good comedy that really makes you giggle. Enter "Just My Type". The characters, story and performances of the cast made "Just My Type" a home run. These days we all need to laugh and that is what I did while watching this adorable movie. From the very first scene I was hooked, and I couldn't stop watching. The characters seamlessly weave into each others lives as they all have an attachment to the wacky WXGH TV station and the stations Power Hour Show. I've spent a lot of time at tv stations, and the portrayals in "Just My Type" were very authentic. The film is shot well, shows well, sounds great, and I really enjoyed all the Miami scenes and references. There is a surprise ending that made me want to see more of this laugh out loud fun movie.
