I normally look at IMDB before starting a horror movie but this time, for some reason, we decided to just hit play as the premise sounded fine and the trailer wasn't too bad.
After waiting and waiting for the plot to develop, I finally flipped over to check reviews and yep, this would have been one I would have never started. The reviews were spot on.
Interesting premise and decent videography but the story was weak, and the scares were limited and very predictable.
The main actor doesn't do too bad of a job but was handicapped by the writing. Only so much she could do.
Unfortunately, this is one to miss.

Worst case scenario plus claustrophobia. Didn't look away-couldn't. This film is like being trapped in Sharon Tate's final nightmare, but without the cult, the headlines, or the mercy of disbelief. It's Charles Manson vibes distilled into one woman's slow-burn unraveling, but also Ted Bundy, who is an escape artist. Also, I hope I'm never in the this country hospital because where is the staff??
It's psychological trespassing.

After all the hype surrounding the release of this film and the juggling between streaming services as to who would get it, I expected a slam-dunk horror/thriller.
Nope.
Not even close.
Not only was it unbelievable (nobody's this stupid--nobody) but the nonsensical goings on and actions by the characters negated any suspense or thrill you might havew gotten in the first place.
Even the premise was a bit ridiculous. A real estate agent is stranded in a house they're showing? Come on... really? Nobody thought to check on her? Every single person who knew her was asleep at the switch?
Not a waste of time completely, but close.

This movie has borrowed from lottuva other movies but has somehow managed to keep up with the suspense, thrill n tension.
I love horror movies set in a house in the middle of nowhere n this one's set up is spot on but mayb due to budget constraints they shot most of the scenes in night time mode so one cannot make out whether it's truly desolated or na. No jungles, no mountains or empty highways.
I also love horror/slasher movies set in hospital n this one is spot on but again the budget issues.
The first movie which will pop up in mind is the French movie Inside. Then mayb a bit of Hush 2016, The Intruder 2019, Wait Until Dark, Netflix's mini series The Watcher n above all Halloween.
The movie has unnecessary cat n mouse stuff, too many implausibility but the post credit scene convinced me a little.
But still why wasn't she startled when she saw the man standing in the house? How did he entered?
Was it really necessary to put a pregnant woman in peril?

When I say dark, I don't mean psychologically. I mean it's too dark to see what's happening. When I say slow I mean this movie should have been 30 minutes because she spends an hour wandering the halls. It drags on and on and on and on. I think this movie could have been okay if I could see it, but I can't because it's just black screen half the time.
