After watching the first 2 episodes I must say I'm hooked!!!
Watching cars go from before to after is insane! The skills these guys have just goes to show why those car detailers charge what they do!
I also love the education side of it when they show what you could do to your car to make it look better, this show may make a car detailer out of me yet haha.
As for the characters they are all great but I must say the guys at reds are super funny and charismatic I can't remember there names but you'll see the ginger guy, he's super funny and has the skills to back it up, that's for sure!
Iv seen some people complain about excess dirt on cars that wouldn't be there by the time it got to the shop but to be honest I think you can only pick on that if your really looking for something to pick at. I mean just look at the difference in the paint!!! That maverick was insane!!!
If your into things like collecting cars and fast and loud this is definitely a show for you!!!
Can't wait to watch the rest!

When I read the synopsis I knew right away the cars were gonna be proped up to increase the /before/after change effect, so it did not surprise me that that's exactly what happens here.
What is offensive to the viewers intelligence is that the "dirty makeup" they give the cars is ridiculous and out of place. Take the Maverick from the first episode for example. Anyone that watches a detailing show like this is into cars and probably car detailing and mechanics, so anyone can see that the algae on that paint is very real. The car was clearly sitting outside on a high humidity shaded area. Anyone recognises the severity of the situation and therefore casn appreciate the work of those guys bringing that paint back to life. So WHY would the special effects/prop guys add that ridiculous pile of leaves on top on the hood?
My theory is that they didn't bother enough to find a crew that knows cars, so they just try to make the cars look dirty and fail miserably.
Btw, what detail shop would bring that maverick inside and blow the leaves all over? When it was clearly just a pile easily removable by hand?
Not to mention, like another review, that those leaves would have just flew over on transportation.

The dirt on these cars has brush stokes and is air brushed on really good cars. This is soo fake it is ridiculous. It reminds me of the YouTube guys that find rusty?? IPhones or iPads on the beach of south east Asia, places like Vietnam and Thailand and they fix this OBVIOUSLY sprayed on RUST colour and restore these electronic. THIS IS THE SAME THING. The Camaro episode #11 was over the top amount of so called dirt on it and you could see the brush strokes of the fake rusty dirty all over it as well as the spray effect on the entire car which just shows how it was all airbrushed on. Under the cars was perfect with out a scratch or flaw in the paint work. YET they washed it and brought it back to SHOWROOM shine. Right....
I watch the one episode. I will never watch another. IF you are going to INSULT my intelligence you do not deserve my attention. WASTE OF TIME DO NOT BOTHER WATCHING THIS GARBAGE TV!!!
But I wouldn't buy a car that's been "sitting for 30 years". All the rubber would be rotten, most likely a lot of rust that wasn't addressed, where's the cracked dashboard covers? All would have to be addressed. Yes it staged but it's fun to watch. Hey, it's television. I was in television for 30 years and most of it was fake!
While I've only watched the first 2 episodes I already see some issues. I feel like the vehicles before they are cleaned are made to look, either by the production team or the customers themselves, dirtier than they really are. In Episode #1 a woman brings her deceased fathers Maverick in and while its sitting in the lot outside the shop there are leaves & twigs all over the windshield. The 1st thing they do when they get it in the shop is blow these off with an air hose. Well wouldn't have have happened on the drive (or even tow) in?
In the second episode the minivan looks to have mud caked all over the windows yet the woman says that she drives it regularly.
While watching the cleaning processes is amazing and oddly satisfying in an ASMR way it feels like the production staff or the clients themselves are "dirtying" up their vehicles for the before part pf the segment.
