Continuity

It is said that the kids disappeared on Wednesday May 5, 2025, but in reality, that day fell on a Monday.
Every time a possessed person goes to attack somebody they run with their arms down like an airplane. However, at the end of the movie when the children attack Gladys, they all run full sprint no arms to their sides.
As the officer (Paul) chases the junkie (James), he stops the police car and continues running after James, leaving the police car door wide open. After catching and cuffing James and walking back to the police car with him, the police car door is closed.
The first time the police officer, Paul, crouches down next to James, who is propped up against the cruiser after Paul punches him, he says to James, "...but if I see you out here again it's gonna be a different story. Yes?" The second time that scene is shown from James's perspective Paul says, "Yeah?" instead of "Yes?" indicating a different take of that scene.

Factual errors

The film is set in Pennsylvania where liquor can only be purchased in "State Stores". One can also buy wine in the state stores, but beer is purchased at package goods stores, bars, or some supermarkets. Nowhere in Pennsylvania can one buy liquor and beer at the same place.
Ms. Gandy's 3rd grade class is studying whales, as seen on the board in the back of the classroom. The board spells the toothed whale parvorder odontoceti incorrectly as "odontceti."
Mandated reporters in Pennsylvania include teachers. Protocol would be for the first-hand witness (Justine) to make the report- not the principal. While this was certainly used as a plot device, it's factually inaccurate.

Incorrectly regarded as goofs

No one seems to notice the name cards on the kids' cubbies are missing when Alex removes them.

Maybe someone did notice but didn't mention it because it wouldn't have meant anything to the investigation at that point. Nobody could've guessed what they were used for. Or maybe it was discussed among investigators but not portrayed in the film since it would've lead nowhere.
The kids disappear in May, but the main story takes place in early to mid June, while the kids are still in school. Some may think that in Pennsylvania, this would be around the time that school ends. That's putting aside the fact that the school was closed for a month, so the entire school year will run a month longer than usual. Also, some schools can run until late June.
Virtually no silverware in the U.S. is actually made of silver, and there's no indication that the family has the kind of generational wealth that would lead to them having a genuine silver set. The cutlery that the junkie stole would be made of stainless steel at best. As such, it would be virtually worthless. Even if it were made of actual silver, the pawn shop owner would have no way to verify its purity or value.

However, there's also no indication the family doesn't have generational wealth. They clearly live in an upscale neighborhood and could very well have inherited or been gifted silver from wealthy family members. Additionally, pawn shop owners have many ways to test precious metal purity such as acid kits or X-ray fluorescence analyzers.

Miscellaneous

When the mother cuts the teacher's hair, she cuts off a lock about 4-5 inches, even though Justine's hair is way too short to produce such an amount.
The cops call Gladys Ms. Lily but she is on Alex's mother's side of the family and would, most likely, have a different last name.

Errors in geography

In the finale, when Aunt Gladys is running, she passes a set of tall palm trees which do not grow in Pennsylvania. There are also shots of tropical bushes in front of some of the homes, which would not survive the harsh winters.

Plot holes

The detectives visit the house to perform an investigation/welfare check but fail to ask to interview Alex's parents.
