Right from the start ...it catches your attention .....and keeps it thru out the movie ....the writing.....the acting....the direction... Etc...etc...etc...Top Notch...love the scenes with the main actress . Very sexy and believable......The ending which I wont disclose is amazing and will leave you hanging on to every word..The sound fits the mood!!! This movie needs to be seen ....Cant wait for a sequel....or prequel.. Stop reading this review and go watch it. You will not be disappointed!!!! Did I mentioned that I loved it??? Lol .. U did!!! Really enjoyed this piece from start to finish; the candy-pink color palette sets the mood both for the LA Seductive Pop tone the movie starts in and the surreal, otherworldly space of terror Riley-Ann finds herself trapped in by the middle of the film. You really feel her desperation as her world starts closing in and the danger to her career and personal safety grows. She's a woman who has to exist in multiple worlds, a grim reality of the entertainment industry, or risk losing her means of sustainability, and the actress encapsulates this perfectly as she tone-shifts between on- and off-camera personas. I felt chills as her stalker gets closer and closer while staying just outside of her and the viewer's perception. Thirst Trap stands as a dark reminder of the dangers women face in a world that objectifies them and makes their existence a commodity.

Thirst Trap, directed by Chantal Massuh and starring Grace Gordon as the cam girl Riley Ann, is an unflinching exploration of the dark underbelly of the online sex work industry. Massuh's masterful direction blends psychological thriller elements with deep social commentary. What starts as a seemingly glamorous and empowering portrayal of digital independence quickly unravels into a gripping, heart-pounding descent into fear and danger.

Thirst Trap serves as a sobering reflection on the fragile boundary between digital life and personal safety. The film's exploration of identity, privacy, and exploitation feels disturbingly relevant in today's hyperconnected world. It forces the audience to confront the dehumanizing gaze of an exploitative society, while championing the agency of its protagonist in a world that wants to strip it away. Grace Gordon brings an incredible emotional range to her role, shifting from empowered confidence to haunting vulnerability as Riley's life spirals out of control under the threat of an obsessed stalker.

Production design. Outstanding!

Costuming. Perfect! Everything from the bedroom to walking down Hollywood Boulevard in the big red coat. I get her. I feel for her and I can appreciate her character development and growth and ultimate change in the end. Love the original score. It gave me the feeling of watching something like Blade Runner or any John Carpenter film.

Grace definitely grabs your attention and holds onto it the entire time. It's quite obvious that the Director made her feel like she could do this in front of the camera and feel completely comfortable in this role. Not an easy thing to pull off. Overall, impressive, great job to you, your cast, and your crew.

You could really tell the Director of this film really wanted to weave a suspenseful web for you. This film was gritty, tense, suspenseful, and thoroughly enjoyable. The production design was top notch as well. You could tell the story was getting suspenseful, not just by action in front of you, but by the way the colors changed from a happy bubblegum science to terrorizing by the end. Honestly, this isn't the kind of movie I'd normally go see with no car chases or explosions, but I'm super glad I did. In fact I've seen it now more than I know a couple of times. I can see why this production has won so many awards and I can't wait until Chantal's next film to see what she brings us.
