War 2 is a big disappointment despite its hype and star power. The movie struggles with a weak storyline that lacks logic and consistency. Instead of a gripping spy-thriller, the film feels like a patchwork of over-the-top action sequences with no emotional depth. The screenplay is shallow, and the plot never really takes off, leaving the audience disconnected. Even the performances can't save it from poor writing and execution.

"War 2" attempts to build upon the action-packed legacy of its predecessor, but it ultimately falls short, coming across as the weakest film in the franchise. While the movie is a feast for the eyes and focuses heavily on cinematic grandeur, it struggles significantly with its narrative, losing its grip on the plot and lacking an engaging screenplay.

The film's visual spectacle is its primary focus. The action sequences are undoubtedly impressive in scale, and the production design is lavish. However, this dedication to grandeur seems to come at the expense of a well-developed and compelling story. The plot feels disjointed, and the screenplay lacks the emotional depth needed to make the high stakes truly resonate with the audience.

The movie's lack of a strong emotional core is particularly noticeable in the background story.

The characters' motivations and backstories are not explored with enough depth, making it difficult to form a genuine connection with them. As a result, the film becomes a series of impressive set pieces without a solid foundation to hold them together.

While the action may be a good distraction, the lack of narrative engagement and emotional depth makes "War 2" a less satisfying experience than the first film. It's a visually appealing movie, but one that leaves you feeling unfulfilled.

Humne unlimited popcorn liye, voh movie se jyada ache the aur voh best part of movie ka tha it is totally unworthy. Okay, so I went to see a movie the other day. Honestly, the unlimited popcorn was the real star of the show, not the film itself. I probably enjoyed the popcorn more than the whole movie experience. What a waste of money, the film was totally forgettable. Seriously, the snacks were the only worthwhile thing!

This film has a good story but screenplay was above average. For the record and for me this movie was a good but not great. This was action packed logicless entertainer. But got a good visuals, locations, cinematography, action choreography,songs,dance, artist's acting everything but logic and screen writing. Visuals are grand but the plot doesn't demand those locations. Flashback was really nice and that impacts the audience. Overall this film got grand visuals with good plot and with above average screenwriting and with more logicless action scenes.

The latest installment in the YRF Spy Universe, helmed by Ayan Mukerji, War 2, banks heavily on the star power and charisma of its lead actors, Hrithik Roshan and Jr NTR, while neglecting the substance that could power the story and build an overall narrative. Right from the very first scene, the movie's approach is clearly defined and remains consistent throughout its 180-minute runtime. While the film has its moments, they are too few to truly elevate the experience. The real-life cinematography with foregn locations is quite good, but the moment heavy VFX kicks in, the quality drops substantially. Songs are decent, though Janaab-E-Ali lacked the punch. The background score blasts at full force throughout the film.

Hrithik Roshan looks fabulous & performs his action sequences quite well. Jr NTR's character was quite lively & multi-faceted, a welcome departure from previous YSU villains. Kiara Advani plays her part well, though her on-screen chemistry with Hrithik doesn't quite click. Ashutosh Rana, however, is undoubtedly the highlight, delivering multiple noteworthy scenes and impactful dialogues. Action sequences are a mixed bag, some work, others feel abruptly ended. The mid- credits scene is enjoyable, Multiple plot points were conveniently added & then forgotten about and the runtime is too stretched. Overall, "War 2", is a typical action masala entertainer made on a grand budget that is a one-time-watch affair.
