Its a cutsy feel good movie. Quite a fresh feeling movie. Stands out on its own among the trash being churned out by the current movie making bollywood factory. Worth seeing with your family. Both the two young boys are also a refresing change of young actors...they add their own pizzaz to the movie. Manav Kaul has got it right down to the casting as well.

All in all it provides a unique take on his brand of creative view and story. Looking forward to more and more of such projects. Give it a while to settle on you and you will like how it opens up. Time well spent for viewers..and that too with the family!

Trial Period is a heartwarming and hilarious family movie that will leave you feeling uplifted and inspired. The film follows Ana, a single mother who hires a "dad-on-hire" to help her raise her son, Romi. Prajapati, the dad-on-hire, is a simple man from a small village who brings his own unique brand of wisdom and humor to the family. The film is full of laugh-out-loud moments, but it also has its fair share of emotional scenes. The relationship between Ana and Prajapati is both heartwarming and touching, and the film does a great job of exploring the complex dynamics of single parenting. I cried a lot while watching this movie, but not because it was sad. I cried because it was so beautiful and heartwarming. The film is a reminder of the importance of family, love, and acceptance. It is a film that will stay with you long after you have seen it.

It's simple movie I mean very simple but still it just gives some special feeling. There is nothing like twist & turns, great stars, chasing sequences, fights, chartbuster songs, big sets, abroad locations etc. What it has is beautiful emotions, good humour, strong acting, full proof script. 1st thing which hit my mind is why all these years Genelia has not acted. She is very good actress, I still remember her in Jaane tu ya Jaane na. Manav Kaul is as usual so effortless & bang on target. Supporting casts have big names like Shakti Kapoor, Gajraj Rao & Sheeba Chaddha who does their job perfectly. But the one who stills the show is the kid Zidane Braz. He acted so beautifully that heart just goes for him. He has excellent future in acting for sure. And last but not least the Aleya Sen, the Director has made sure to keep it simple but still special. No un-necessary stuff about divorce or people talking non-sense etc. Pure story which is also not that big/complicated. Just love this film. And sincere request to Genelia to please continue doing acting. It's a must see film.

Every thing in the movie was good including story, script, directions and how the movie forced people to laugh and cry along with the characters. However Genelia's acting wasn't that good. Few years ago, her bad acting skills used to behind the cute looks that she had. However now that didn't work and only she performed poorly in the movie. This is an honest feedback and in case if Genelia is reading then she must work to improve her acting skills now. Manav Jail's performance was fabulous, same was followed by Zidane, Shakti Kapoor, Gajraj Rao, Sheeba, Barun Chanda and Swaroopa Ghosh. These actors and actresses must be appreciated for pulling up the movie to 8 stars despite poor acting from Genelia.

Now days it's tough to make a movie like this. I haven't seen such beautiful paring of lead cast in a while. Kudos to supporting cast as well Shakti Kapoor, Gajraj Rao and all other kids throughout the movie kept us engaged. I remember when I saw the movie named Chintu Ka Birthday where kid steal the show one could relate the character of Romi. Also poem recitation by Manav kaul in a movie scene I bet it could be written by himself. He is a gem of a actor. Background score is good with one or two songs in this movie. Its must one time watch for everyone.
