फ़ीचर्ड समीक्षाएं
This movie sucks. It's got horrible acting, incredibly bad writing, and forgettable direction.
If you're looking for Jodie Sweetin, keep on moving, as she's only in this wretched film for 4 minutes.
The handyman killer isn't an interesting character. There's no rhyme or reason for his murders. He just kills when he's done with people, or when they've pissed him off. When you do find out why he's on his little murderous tantrum, you don't really care. He's a very low rent Jason copycat. He's an unimaginative killer, considering all of the tools he has at his disposal. Being a contractor, he could've had so many cool ways to off his victims, and he basically leaves so many awesome ideas literally on the drawing board.
Please don't waste your valuable time on this horrible "movie". It was made for less than 250k and it shows. I love a good low budget film, because they usually come up with unique plot/storylines. This is NOT one of them. Watch a good (smart) murder mystery on Acorn if you want a small challenge and a laugh. For gore, go old school. Leave this dreck in the wind. Trust me.

The lead actress was good but the actor who played the killer was horrible. "Chewed the scenery," as they say. He was supposed to be the "hot and sexy" guy but he was not attractive (sorry to be rude, but his nose was distracting) and too young. He completely overacted. It was comical, not scary. I have no idea what she would see in him. It was ridiculous, although most Lifetime movies are. The other actors were fine. He brother didn't really seem like he brother and they didn't resemble each other in the least. His girlfriend was a bit too much. The husband's acting was understated. The movie was not the worst but definitely not the best.
This first thing to know is this was a low budget film and was independently created. That said, it was very entertaining and I jumped more than once. Yes there were bits of gaps but considering the construct of the project I was impressed. The story line wasn't bad at all. Kudos to the whole team!
Handyman from hell was a fun take on revenge in suburbia. Watching the film premiere with cast and crew on zoom offered the insider's perspective and filled in a couple gaps. They did a great job and I can't wait for the promised sequel because they learned a lot I'm sure and it's only going to get better from here!

Seeing that this was a Lifetime independent film, I was hesitant to watch it, but it is the Halloween season and I wanted to watch a thriller movie. Jodie Sweetin (Full House & Just Swipe fame) started the first scene and I wish she had more time in the movie, but lover turned psycho killer, Nate (Joey Ariemma), ends her role early. Nate is clearly the star in this thriller as he turns on his charm to win over Maggie as her handyman, lover, then killer. Joey Ariemma's ability to switch between the pretty boy to psycho man is what made this movie so good. Other actors that made it worth the watch were funny man Vic Dibitetto, sexy Kristina Horan, and David Santiago. While Maggie (Lilianan Tandon) played co-star, her brother Michael (Steve Hofstetter) kind of dragged the movie down just a little bit with some dry acting and cheesy scenes. Nevertheless, the "thriller" of Nate kept the movie roller coaster ride on track! While not a Michael Myers (Halloween) horror movie, this served me well with a side of romance. Definitely worth a watch.
Handyman from Hell is a lackluster attempt at a horror movie that ultimately falls flat in its execution. The movie's premise, which revolves around a sinister handyman wreaking havoc on unsuspecting victims, is riddled with clichés and lacks any semblance of originality. The storyline follows a predictable and formulaic trajectory, offering little in the way of surprises or genuine scares.
The characters in Handyman from Hell are one-dimensional and fail to evoke any real empathy or interest from the audience. The performances are lackluster, with "actors" such as B-rated stand-up comedian Steve Hofstetter, delivering lines in a wooden and unconvincing manner. The lack of chemistry between the cast members further detracts from the overall viewing experience, making it difficult to become emotionally invested in their fates.
The special effects in Handyman from Hell are amateurish and unimpressive, failing to create a sense of dread or suspense. The practical effects are poorly executed, with cheap-looking props and unconvincing gore that do little to enhance the movie's horror elements. The CGI, when used, is glaringly obvious and detracts from the overall immersion of the movie.
Overall, Handyman from Hell is a forgettable and uninspired horror movie that fails to deliver on its promise of thrills and chills. With a lackluster plot, unconvincing performances, and subpar special effects, this movie is best avoided by those seeking a truly terrifying cinematic experience.
