Instead, I think they're intentional, leaving room for further exploration in a potential next season. It adds to the intrigue, and I'm actually excited to see how the story could develop further.

One thing that might not get enough attention but I really appreciated is the attention to detail in the cinematography and setting. The video quality, the design of the locations, the accessories, and even the characters' outfits are so iconic and memorable. Every element feels deliberate and adds a layer of visual storytelling to the overall narrative. It's actually interesting to note that the cast themselves mentioned in interviews how Nine Puzzles incorporates fashion as an integral part of the story. The way the characters dress and the style choices really help define their personalities and add an extra layer of depth to their roles. It's rare to see such a well-thought-out combination of style and substance in a psychological thriller, and it definitely adds to the show's appeal.

Strong introduction to a murder mystery with a quirky and offbeat tone. It is full of symbolism which instantly makes for a fun watch. Every time the camera rests on something, it either symbolises something or is a clue which means viewers have to stay locked in.

Along with the strange world of Nine Puzzles, all the characters, main and secondary, are equally eccentric, suggesting that this is not going to be a straightforward thriller.

The genius of the series is that it doesn't just question who the killer is - it questions what a killer looks like. Guilt drips from every character. The show scatters doubt like breadcrumbs, leading viewers into a forest where no one.

I'm not sure if this is a translation issue or writing, but you have to do some pretty good mental gymnastics to make the plot line work. Also I don't think the main characters general demeanor is inline with her trauma so it's hard to relate to her. She's just too bubbly and quirky for it to make sense. Also her character seems to be a bit lazily written. Her profiling ability just doesn't sync with reality all that well. Anyway, it entertaining, but just not all that great. I just don't know if this is a voice over issue a translation issue or a writing issue. It good if there is nothing else on.

The plot is interesting and can catch you but the main character Jo I na (Kim Da mi) is so "don't care" type who makes hard to root for.

I think this is because a poor characterization for Kim Da mi who looks like have only one facial expression. She can't transmit to us if she is joking, serious or happy. A unfair comparison is Park Eun bin characterization of a autistic person in "Extraordinary Attorney Woo" who with her talent transmit to us all her feelings.

Son Suk ku has a waay better acting then her as her partner detective Han Sam.

The supporting cast is competent and do their job.

I will watch this series to the end because the plot is good and make me curious how this will end.
