Only Boo is such a refreshingly cute, fluffy, and lighthearted BL series. It follows Kang and Moo, who randomly cross paths when Moo gets sent by his mom to a rural area to study. Kang works at the school canteen and is into arts, while Moo is a high schooler dreaming of becoming an idol, passionate about dancing and music.
It's a light rom-com that moves at a nice pace, and what I love most is how unpredictable it is. I honestly didn't expect much going in. I thought it would be another typical high school BL with a cliché storyline but it surprised me in the best way.
One of the things I really appreciated is how fast Kang and Moo realize their feelings for each other. No unnecessary 8-episode buildup. Just genuine emotions from the start.
Kang and Moo are such lovable characters with amazing chemistry. They really feel like a real couple, so much physical touch, acts of service, and quality time. And the side couple? Just as adorable and in sync.
The cast is also age-appropriate, which adds a layer of realism. For a group of fresh faces in their first series, they did an amazing job. It's refreshing to see that kind of authenticity.
Moo's flirting and confidence had me giggling the whole time, whoever wrote those sweet pickup lines deserves a raise! He reminded me of Gavreel from Gameboys: bold, straightforward, open-minded, and totally unafraid to go after what he wants. Meanwhile, Kang is more reserved, but he slowly opens up, and it's so wholesome to watch.
Their relationship is healthy and full of clear communication, which is such a breath of fresh air in the BL world. Also, shoutout to their moms! I love how both are supportive of their sons' relationship, no matter the gender. That kind of representation really hits home.
Each episode just keeps getting better. Even though it's light and fluffy, it never feels boring.
Now, I usually lean more toward the spicy, chaotic, drama-filled BLs but Only Boo absolutely won me over. There's something special about a feel-good series that just radiates good vibes.
Plus, I love how it tackles the real struggles idols face like the "no dating" rules. It reminds viewers that idols and celebrities are humans, not possessions. They deserve love too, and this show sends that message loud and clear.
More people seriously need to watch Only Boo, they're missing out on all the cuteness and heart this series brings.

This is another school themed BL series from GMMTV. Somehow this one reminds me of My School President, cause the plot involves high school students who thrive to be big stars in the entertainment industry. And just like My School President, there is no significant conflicts that can play with your emotions. There's no real villain in this story, no real threats to keep the audience in suspense. So if you like that type of plot, this series is definitely for you. Other than that, the only weakness of this series is the guy playing Kaeng. His acting skill definitely needs some improvements. It looked like that he's having a trouble showing negative emotions such as anger and sadness. And for those who ship ForceBook, Force will be making a cameo in the last episode (just as I suspected from the first time I saw Book in this series).
Khao Kaeng is a popular curry stall at an all-boys high school. Moo (Su Wei Cha * Piya Nuo Puluo), a wealthy senior, dreams of becoming a pop idol but also yearns for love, presenting a dilemma as he tries to balance both aspirations. Moo, though he looked adorable but acted too cutesy throughout the series, tries too hard to force his "love at 1st sight" crush, Kang played by "Sea" Dechchart Tasilp, to date him. The storyline was slow in every episode with some small twists and turns, so it became boring for me plus the ending was no surprise. His dorm caretaker Neth (Pansa Vosbein) was funny and supportive, I like her a lot. The mothers did a great job in their roles as stern and supportive. The school instructors and dean were great being authoritative while giving great advice and being support. Moo's best friends and cousin are very cute and good second storylines.
Imagine taking eight almost HOUR LONG episodes to get to a kiss. The series is only 12 episodes to begin with and it took well over half the episodes just for a single kiss. Also I don't know if it's the actors or the staff to blame but the kiss scenes suck too. They're not attractive at all. They don't angle their heads properly so you get smooshed noses and just awkward angles for the kisses and it just makes them look super unattractive. I am done with my review now so time to rant about the minimum character requirement TO WRITE A REVIEW ON A SHOW AND MOVIE APP. ITS STUPID. ITS SO BIG. JUST LEAVE IT A COUPLE CHARACTERS. Nothing to amend.

I did not have any expectation for this series. But honestly, SeaKeen cuteness overwhelmed me haha. I really like how expressive Moo (played by Keen) is. It's refreshing to see someone as expressive as he is. Tbh, the storyline is kinda mediocore haha. But if you like something easy, cute, and make you smile with a very good OST. Try this one haha. You can experience the awkward love between young people here but also very much sweetness :) And Keen's voice is really sweet! Also Sea is very charming!! Not to mention, the supporting characters are all very suitable and refreshing. One of my favorite is the headmaster haha. He was hilarious but supportive.
