फ़ीचर्ड समीक्षाएं
Personally I am not a fan of modern drama. Last modern drama I watched is Stranger a hell. It's also thriller drama. But I don't know why I love this series so much lol. Even this drama full of fluffiines , really not my taste at all
But I can't help falling harder when knowing the story better. It's so realistic and it reminds me about myself. I happened to had same experience as FL. All I need is HSY. His dialogues dug into my heart
I keep tearing whenever the angst scene comes
How could I supposed forget this one and HSY when clearly he is the one I search till today
The quotes at last episode is so mindfull and heartwarming 😭😭
I just love how realistic the story is and how the story flow. This drama bring so much emotion in me. Smiling, giggling, angry also sadness The others I like about this drama ofc the cinematography. Hhhh love this drama give me calm and soothing vibe The TCM theme also so interesting. I can't help to search over internet lol 🤣🤣 The ost also sooo gooood The acting is superb. Especially the leads.

I started watching this contemporary romance drama just expecting to enjoy drama-free viewing to pass the time.
What I didn't expect was to be charmed by the cinematography, and fascinated and enriched by the little nuggets of knowledge of TCM peppered throughout this series featuring a Chinese physician (He Suye) as the male lead and the female lead (Shen Xifan) working as a hotel's front office manager. There are no big ups and downs in the plot, rather the story/ romance develops naturally and slowly, as Xifan overcomes the hurt from a previous relationship, and begins healing as she gets to know Suye more.
It didn't hurt that the drama was shot in Hangzhou, and audiences get treated to gorgeous scenery of lakes, gardens, and streets lined with blossoming trees. The chemistry between the leads just kept growing on me, that I revised my rating twice, from 8 to 9 and then finally 10.
There were many heart melting , touching moments that had me tearing in happiness, especially when heart felt, life and relationship affirmative words were exchanged. This one is going into the list of dramas I will watch again in a heartbeat.

This C Drama climbed slowly up my Favorites ballot to second or third place as I watched in it the past week. It's a lovely breath of fresh air and will long be a comfort rewatch for me, I'm sure.
Things I love about The Best Thing: The visuals! Good grief, but the cinematography in this drama is gorgeous. The landscapes, the angles, and lighting, the textures were all so beautifully shot it was like a visual feast.
The chemistry is very good between these two beautiful leads, and the slow simmering heat comes to a boil in one of the most sensual and tasteful love scenes I've watched. The visuals are stunning and smolderingly hot while remaining fairly modest. And the kisses! Whew.
This story is about healing with sweet support from one another, family, and age old Chinese medicine. By the end, pretty much everyone is healthier and happier than when we started this delicious drama. It's light, lovely, calming, and comforting in a way that's hard to decipher.
Give me a good, honest, well-written script with pretty people to look at and I'm a happy couch camper. This drama fulfilled those things for me.
Just a couple of things kept it out of the 10 rating for me.
It's slow moving in places, and there's a great deal of looking off into mid-space and pondering by the leads. That is tiring. It's a quiet enough journey to begin with, but these kinds of drags can make viewers impatient.
The other frustration I have is with Asian stylists and the way they dress men in clothing two sizes too big. Asian men are on the slender side to begin with, but dressing them in ridiculously baggy trousers and jackets that hang off shoulders makes them look sloppy and hungry. Just my take on that.
Don't sleep on this drama. It's a dreamy and satisfying show.

The Best Thing (CDrama) - A Soothing & Beautiful Watch
The Best Thing is a calming, visually stunning drama that feels like a warm cup of tea. The natural herbal medicine theme, delicate flowers, and holistic healing elements add to its serene charm. Not to mention the gentle romance. As a straight woman, I can say this show is romance through a woman's eyes.
The male lead is a rare gem-emotionally mature, patient, and deeply understanding. His kindness and support make him the ideal partner, bringing a refreshing dynamic to the story.
Overall, this drama is a peaceful and heartfelt journey of love, healing, and connection. Perfect for anyone seeking something soothing yet deeply moving.
