Trisha on the Rocks

Let me breakdown few points, so you can decide if it is watchable or not?!

Movie quality and screenplays are wonderful. I could not find typical Gujarati movie flaws. So great job in movie execution.

Direction seems really good but the story telling part is really really lengthy with annoying pauses and laughs. The total movie time is around 2 hours and 44 minutes, which is way too long for the story. This movie could have win more hearts if it was 1 hour and 30 minutes movie.

Casting and acting is top notch, but due too insufficient dialogs, pauses and laughter are becoming useless. Where Trisha is constantly laughing when audience seems total silence.

I find the waste of talent with Janaki Bodiwala, as she is wonderful actor and she could have done better job if it was asked by director. Ravi and Hiten Kumar is quite good in their performances. But when movie's name is 'Trisha on the rocks!' More from Janaki was expected.

Last but not least, why there are handful of dialogs when you are making more than 2 hours of movie?

Giving 6/10 as this is one of the good story plot, but could have done better job if the story was told bit smartly.

Trisha On The Rocks (2024)

A totally Twisted take on The Blue Lagoon, or rather, a Bizarro movie from "Parallel Alternate Universe".

Story of Hook up culture teen whose got pregnant from one night stand from a smuggler, deciding to have the baby without marriage, her Rich dad agrees on every terms. Totally a twisted take on a disturbing bizzard subject.

Written and directed by Gujarati filmmaker Krishnadev Yagnik, this film also marks his debut as music composer. And it is very important to mention the score, it totally manipulates the viewers to adjust with the twisted deviant outlooks of the movie.

Also the cinematography, Gujarat backdrops looked like soothing Canada households. Well photographed locations of Ahmedabad, Gujarat; both in day and night scenes, the makers really tricks viewers into appreciating the film.

After Bollywood Remake Shaitaan, Janki Bodiwala is all grownup and stars in the title role as Trisha, opposite to Ravi Gohil as Vishal. Both of them done a great job as the main leads, especially those dance sequences are physically very hard to pull off.

The most challenging job in this movie will be done by actor Hiten Kumar for playing Trisha's Dad. It's really Bizzard to play such a Dump written character in a logical sense, only a good character actor can play such roles.

Don't know how this film got made, how it earned at the Box-office, this is strange. It has good visual to look at, but the story is so disturbingly hard to imagine in real life.

Usually I don't watch SIMP movies, but strangely carried away by the short teaser with no dialogue, this Gujarthi movie is streaming on Amazon Prime.

Just very poor film in all aspects of a movie. Way too long 170 min. It's not worth a penny. Spent 300 on ticket hardly 20-30rs worth. Had to leave the movie after second half started. Could bot bare it any further.

In simple words just don't watch this. Very long pauses in close ups and make laughs, at some point it feels like actress is still not out of the character from previous movie "shaitan"

Absolutely you can skip this you would not feel that you've missed something.

Very boring script. By the end of first half you'll feel why am I still watching this movie. Total waste of time and money.

So boring and very poor acting.

There is no plot, long shots of the same person just laughing, which makes it too boring.

Acted so poorly that you can't connect with any character.

It's not worth anyone's time.

The first half is okay though, but the second half makes you think, why are you still watching? Editing is nearly zero. Those long face close-ups last so long that you get irritated and plan to leave the theater.

Fake and long laughs were too obvious and it was painful to watch. The movie lacked any real emotional depth or engagement. Overall, it's a disappointing experience that fails to entertain or leave any lasting impression.

One of the worst movie I have ever seen. Too much lengthy, boring, over acting, direction was third class, and story was worst to worst. In the whole movie, there was good is just first song dance.

Caste should acting in proper storyline based movies.

Ravi Gohil deserve much much better movies, he is excellent perfomer.

Janvi' & Hiten Sir's "vash" was unbeatable and this Trisha on the rocks should not come even in counting.

Gujarati movies standard was being excellent day by day, but thess type of movies impact no class or last category.
