Road Wars: Max Fury

Let me preface this by saying, when you see a film title and its essentially timed to release at the same time as a presumptuous summer "hit" and every word in the title of the film is borrow from that particular well know franchise, you know it can't be taken seriously.

And that's the only thing it has going for it; deception. Its banking on riding a coat tail of another film, and that's exactly whats it's doing because the film is such a poor representation of an action/post apocalyptic sub-genre film. These types of films popped up in video rental store back in the day, trying to skim off an audience that unknowingly wanders in. This is as terrible as you could imagine.

Another Asylum rip off. Amazing this company is still allowed to rip others ideas off and NEVER create ANYTHING original. I truly believe that resources should ALWAYS be used to make a QUALITY product, whether it is a material item, a movie, a song, anything, and anyone who squanders resources by making absolute garbage that breaks after a couple uses or makes one despise going to the movies because of fear of being ripped off or whatever should be ashamed of themselves. This movie as with ALL asylum releases plays off other blockbuster films, in this case the latest Mad Max Movie "Furiosa" that actually is good, in hopes of drawing that crowd who may "think" this is the movie they wanted to see, but then its just a rip off copy with horrible acting and everything. There should be laws against this type of scam. Anyway, see it if you have the money to waste, but I'd recommend the authentic Mad Max movies instead!

This was one of my free rentals from Dish. Thinking it was a Mad Max sequel. I wasted a whole month of a free movie on this piece of trash. Whoever wrote the last review. Was either full of s*** or very much satirical.

I could not even watch more than 10 minutes of this. Stopped it and I had one more day to watch it, so I tried to watch it again but could not. I'm supposed to write six hundred words on this piece of junk and i'm running out of things to say, it's just bad, bad, bad. I've got another a hundred and two words to continue this review. But I am running out of bad things to say so I guess I'll just quit.

It's terrible. It's cheap. It's badly written. It's atrociously acted. It was was probably filmed in an afternoon.....in a desert......with an iPhone.

So it should deserve a 1 for being terrible, however, it does have the great Vernon Wells in it!! You know, Him from the MadMax 2 movie, the one with the Mohawk and the assless chaps."....ok maybe not that great.

I couldn't give this a 1 simply because, well, at least they tried. It can't be easy making a movie on a budget like this.

Actually, I just decided to give it another mark because at least music matched scenes and they were edited fairly competently. So there, a 3..... god save me.

I just finished watching Furiosa and thought this was a spinoff from the same production, therefore I purchased it. I had two movies to watch, so you can understand how frustrating it is that I saved this for last only to realise this was like one those movies written in less than a week and recorded within a day. 10 minutes into the movie, I finally realised that I wasting my time. I didn't complete the movie. My advice is "don't even start the movie." It a fake. Poor roleplay and storyline. Apart from the fancy camera, every other aspect of this movie is garbage. I would've given it a -11 stars if it were up to me.
