This series uses amazing images to tell stories about the creatures and aquatic communities under the sea. The use of graphics, holograms, clear and colorful photography, and some amazing videos gets me lost in the story. And these episodes are indeed stories. They don't just educate and expose me to environments and creatures I've never seen, they help me understand how they live and how our behavior can impact them. I also enjoy that at the end of each episode they recap what was learned in that episode.

The equipment used in these episodes is truly remarkable and creates opportunities that make even the experts sit back in awe!

This series goes deeper than a surface level exploration (all the puns intended) of animal footage to the hows and whys of scientific research. You'll love this if you want more than beautiful images or a cursory overview of animal behavior and ecosystems. OceanXplorers shows the team effort that goes into advancing our collective understanding of these precious animals and environments.

It goes to show that facilitating the work of these marine biologists, divers, and tech innovators brings us novel insights into animal behavior alongside captivating footage that I'm sure will be educational for many. It was for me.

Highly recommend this series! The other reviewer complaining about the predation scenes just doesn't get it.

There's so much incredible stuff down there that they uncover in this series. I can't wait for next season.

Highlights for me were the humpback-orca predation, the bioluminescent flashback, tagging a deep sea shark and getting a whales-eye view of what it like to be a sperm whale.

The ship is an incredible ship and is almost like its own character. The Xplorers each bring their own unique perspective to the crew and James' expert narration ties it all together nicely.

It's crazy we're all so obsessed with space exploration when there's still so much out there in the deep right here on our planet.

... and so is this series.

An incredible look at cutting edge technology and never-before-seen wonders of the ocean. The mind-blowing cinematography and imagery will leave you in awe. Plus, who doesn't love James Cameron? A great combination of science, discovery, and storytelling. The explorer team pushes the limits of discovery, and makes me want to change careers. Our world is incredible and more people need to see it, appreciate it, and respect it. I hope they greenlight a second season.

You can tell the production team went above and beyond to pull this off -- 10/10. Give this a watch. You won't be sorry.
