The Next 1000 Years of Humanity

I really wanted to see this through but the narration makes it unwatchable. It's unparalleled monotony. Imagine an old school newspaper boy yelling headlines at you for 45 minutes. It's one guy just reading words at the top of his lungs, even worse, the cadence is incorrect, with pauses that are continuously in the wrong place. It's as if he's reading the whole script from note cards. Read the following sentence with punctuation to get an idea. " The ability!, to simulate!, complex systems!, at the quantum level!, will accelerate discoveries!, in physics!, chemistry!, and biology!". The whole thing is literally a guy yelling 2 to 3 words at a time while random clips of people working in a lab play on screen.

I was instantly intrigued by this documentary piece, as you would have to be non human, to not care about the future of mankind. So much can happen in the future, so it is always a case of best guess, how ever I feel that this documentary, covers all the necessary points, and articulates it well.

I would say that this is a well researched documentary, that provides insight, in a way that is very entertaining and educational.

Good use of visuals through out, help to explain and entertain, making this film flow nicely, in way that keep you engaged and makes it a pleasant watch. I would for sure recommend this.

I am not a huge science buff myself, but I have to say, this was very interesting indeed, as it not only went 1000 years in the future, but also discussed, time periods on the way to 1000 years from now, so it shows the development and evolution of change, which helps explain the course of things.

Predicting the future is off course very difficult, so who knows how much of this will come true, but I felt that this documentary film, came up with great ideas and explained them very well, with a slick editing style and good use of music, along side appropriate images, that tell the story of the narrative.

Was not sure what to make of this, as often these sort of documentaries are some what presumptuous in nature, and to be fair, I would say that this is true of this one also, but when predicting the future, you have no choice, so in that you have to give these documentaries films some slack, and I feel that this one deserves its slack, as it is a very interesting piece, that educates and entertains through out.

This documentaries is well put together, with an editing style, that is appropriate for this kind of film, which keeps you engaged and interested enough, to take on the information that is given.

Not sure how much of this will come true, but I can say that the vast majority of it, is a very good guess and therefore has a very good chance of coming true, because the science stacks up, which makes it some what more believable.

I have watched a few on the future and feel that this is one the best I have watched, on this subject.

If you are interested in science or science fiction, then I would say that this is for you, as it would give you much of what you already enjoy.

The editing is very polished, with visuals that help you to visualise, what the narrative is all about. This is an enjoyable documentary.
