Paalum Pazhavum

Sumi, a 33-year-old lonesome, disillusioned woman meets Sunil, a 22-year-old man on Facebook. They converse, fall in love and tie the knot. However, what occurs when Sumi, a responsible woman, discovers that Facebook can be deceptive? In reality, Sunil is a wastrel who married an older, employed woman on purpose, to avoid having to work. What happens when Sunil realizes that Sumi has been a caregiver to her bed-ridden mother since so many years and she needs a companion who respects her? Will he mend his ways and woo her? Will she acknowledge the fact that Sunil is a virtuous man, even though he doesn't have a degree or a job? #PalumPazhavum boasts of remarkable performances by Meera Jasmine and Aswin Jose. Running time needs to be reduced by 20 minutes. Rating 3/5.

VKP has given a flavourless meal with light hearted humour moments.

The plot of the movie revolves around an immature young,spoiled and lazy boy in one instance and a determined young matured lady who had to give up her aspirations and succumb to life circumstances marries each other and the harsh realities they come to know about each other and funny incidents forms the storyline.

The first half of the movie moved in a decent pace with some hilarious moments but the later half lost momentum completely leading to a sudden illogical climax.

You will find the first half of the movie entertaining to an extent if you still cherish the youthful adolescent vibes within you and the second half with a bare minimum maturity.

Seems VKP has reached a saturation point in envisioning a good story rather than bringing a cooked up story with cliche situations. The entire movie could have been cut short by atleast 15 minutes where the editing department failed miserably.

Decent performances by Ashwin Jose,Meera Jasmine,Shanthikrishna,Maniyanpilla Raju,Ashokan & Nisha Sarang.

The lack of proper screenplay and strong storyline makes the movie just a one time watchable entertainer.

Gotta be real with you guys, This movie is much better than PREMALU.

Both of the actors performed remarkably and the movie though long and sometimes tiring has a remarkable ending which is worth everything. Was disappointment when I saw such low reviews of this movie in here and decided to skip it but then just went with and was delighted to Jasmine and the newcomer (I am seeing him for the first time) playing at par with such a seasoned actor. You need to give this movie a shot and; we need have so many more movies from this genre. Everybody, though not well polished, did a good job on the set. Well now it is your turn, give it a shot.

Palum Pazhuvum is a new movie directed by VK Prakash, a director who is notorious in making bad movies back to back. VK Prakash started this project with Naslen Ghafoor and Honey Rose in his mind. But as soon as they heard the name of VK Prakash, Nazleen and Honey Rose back out from this project saying that they were not interested in acting in this film. Instead of 34-year-old Honey Rose, who opted out of the film for fear of being fielded out, the director is trying to fool the audience by bringing in 42-year-old Meera Jasmin, who has already been fielded out, claiming that she is only 33 years old in screen. (There seems to be a beautify option in davinci resolve software or adobe after effects software like the beautify option in mobile cameras). The biggest joke is about the hero, the director is bringing a person who is actually 33-34 years old and imposing on the audience that he is only 23 years old.

I guess VKP's associate director, Ashish, who's responsible for penning the screenplay and dialogues of Palum Pazhavum, attempting to adapt the narrative of VKP's 2002 Bollywood drama Freaky Chakra, for a Kerala setting, rather than creating an original work. The main reason for the failure of this movie it is its outdated story line and weak script. The dialogues were too artificial and dramatic, making things worse.

The buffoonery gimmicks of some actors (Exemption to Ashokan, Shanthi Krishna & Maniyan Pilla) who have shown their faces in instagram reels and youtube shorts are what make this movie most unbearable. I dont have the idea about how this director VKP is canvassing each producer and induce them to invest money in his films. I have nothing else to say to director VK Prakash, who directs each film thinking "how to make this film worser than my previous film", except "may your next film be worse than this.

I absolutely recommend watching this new Movie directed by VK Prakash, I Havent really Liked movies made by this director io the past, HOWEVER This movie is absolutely amazing! I love the story line and it was a remarkable acting performance from both. Aswin Jose and Meera Jasmine, this Movie was Great Overall and The comedy in this movie was. COMICAL!! Superb Comedy throughout the movie, however one thing I didnt like was that they Took the movie going on for Too Long and the end was very Dull, other than that the Movie is an ABSOLUTE MUST WATCH!!!
