The movie hit home for me in many ways, seeing the parallels in my own experience with my father who I too lost to dementia.

"Memori," directed by Abid Hussain, isn't just a movie; it feels like a heartfelt, deeply personal letter to anyone who has ever watched a loved one slowly fade away. The film, inspired by Hussain's own father's battle with Alzheimer's, has a raw and authentic feel that's hard to shake. It's a story told from the inside, with all the pain, confusion, and desperate love that comes with this devastating disease.

The movie centers on Dr. Hassan, a respected academic whose world begins to shrink as his memories slip away. Watching Dato' Hilal Azman portray him is a moving experience-he captures the vulnerability and quiet panic of a man losing his sense of self. His son, Imran, played by Hisyam Hamid, is a character many of us can relate to: a person trying to reconcile with a parent before it's too late. But the true unsung hero is Rina, Imran's wife, played with quiet strength and grace by Diana Danielle. She is the anchor for this storm-tossed family, the one who holds everything together with endless patience and unconditional love. Danielle's performance is a beautiful, understated portrait of a caregiver-she embodies the emotional labor and resilience that so often goes unseen.

What moved me most was how "Memori" doesn't shy away from the messy reality of caregiving. It's quiet, sincere, and deeply affecting, the kind of film that lingers in your mind long after you leave it.

I wish Abid Hussain and the cast the very best and hope this film finds its way to audiences everywhere, because it deserves to be seen and remembered.

Great film from Abid. Its a touching story that strike the right creative notes and real life experiences. The Excellent actors and themes really hits hard on what we encounter in real life. Father son relationships, divorce, ageing, health, life and our memories. Can we face our fears, life and death ? Whats a closure? A must see 👀 👌

Memori is more than just a movie, it helps people truly understand Alzheimer's. It's not only about the patient, but also how it affects their family and everyone around them.

Kudos to the three lead actors, they did an amazing job. Playing such emotional and difficult roles must have been tough but every feeling on screen felt so real and raw.

I felt deeply connected while watching because I went through the same journey with my mom who is battling with the last stage of Alzheimer.
