Reapers

As the writer\director of this film I want to say thank you to everyone involved. I did this during the pandemic with some amazing people , some who are no longer here. A few parts are zoomed in and scenes cut because of that and this is also a part 1, so more to come -- it has been a dream of mine since I was a child to travel to Japan, Iceland, Germany, and France and to capture those amazing cultures in this film...what a blessing. Ty for your support and energy Hard Matter is my first feature film but this is my first love. I truly hope you enjoy the vibes and energy and go and watch I heart robots if you haven't already.

"Reapers" directed by and starring Justin Price, with notable performances by Danny Trejo and Amin Joseph, is a 2024 sci-fi action film that takes viewers on a supernatural journey across the United States, Japan, and Germany. The narrative centers on Zion (Justin Price), a resurrected soul collector on a perilous mission to save his wife. Along the way, he confronts ghouls, demons, and engages in deadly bargains with Death, all while striving to prevent a powerful briefcase from falling into malevolent hands.

The film's international filming locations enrich its visual appeal, offering a diverse backdrop that enhances the storytelling. Danny Trejo delivers a compelling performance as The Wanderer, bringing his signature intensity to the role. Amin Joseph, known for his work in "Snowfall," adds depth to the ensemble cast, though specific details about his character are less prominent.

I personally loved its unique blend of supernatural action and drama. For fans of the genre, the film offers a distinctive experience that intertwines supernatural elements with action-packed sequences.

Don't be fooled by this fake, bloated score (over 8 at the time of writing), it's a really bad, amateurish attempt at a movie. We've got yet another writer/director/lead-actor who thinks he's the greatest thing ever, so naturally, he makes the worst film possible. The plot is over complicated and convoluted, and the acting is mixed at best. Everything going on makes it very had to follow, and I just eventually gave up and stopped trying. I would have given it 1 star, but I like Dilan Gwyn, so it gets one more star. He also sequel baits at the end, but let's be honest, we are not getting a second film after everyone sees this one...thankfully.

I'm sorry, but this movie is terrible. It's just a random collection of scenes (some well crafted, some not), with no plot connecting them. Some scenes are painfully slow with meaningless dialogue. The more it went on, the more I wanted to turn it off, but I kept going in hopes of something 'thrilling' or 'gripping' actually happening. Nothing.

I'm not sur eif this is part one or the film makers just stopped bt why!! Why did you stop! Lol we sat back and watched a lot of FOYIN BLACK MEN grace the screen Amin Joseph from Snowfall mmmmmm and that lead guy Justin whoever just yes...yessssss i know im supposed to review the movie but yesssssss thats the answer. Do you want Reapers part 2? Yes...are there some beautiful black people? Yes! Lol as for the story i mean it was like a disney show probably same limited budget haha stuff happened things were thinging but id watch anythign with those fine people in it so theres really no complaints from me so thats it buh bye.
