Tabaah

Tabha is an absolute disappointment. The story was terrible - predictable, boring, and completely lacking in depth. It dragged on with no clear direction, and the pacing was painfully slow. The plot had no real substance, and everything felt pointless. The film never builds any real tension, and the few attempts at drama fall completely flat. By the time it ended, I was just relieved it was over. If you're looking for a meaningful story or anything engaging, Tabha will leave you frustrated and bored. The direction was also lackluster, and the scenes felt disconnected. The film could have been much better with some effort. It's truly a waste of time.

Film Review: Tabaah

Tabaah starts off on a promising note, with an engaging premise and a well-known crew backing the project. If it were a short film, its impact might have been stronger, but as a full-length feature, it struggles to maintain the audience's interest till the end.

The film bears similarities to Lover (Punjabi film), following a familiar trope where the protagonist, after facing rejection in love, turns to alcohol-ultimately leading to his downfall. The cause of death, as expected, is excessive drinking, making the plot predictable.

However, Tabaah does introduce a unique element: a love story where the female lead remains unaware of the person approaching her. This adds an intriguing layer, setting it apart from conventional romantic dramas. Later, when she gets married, another unexpected storyline unfolds, adding some depth to the narrative.

While the initial portions are engaging, the film loses momentum after an hour, becoming repetitive and predictable. The emotional depth and execution could have been handled better to sustain audience engagement. Despite its strong start, Tabaah ultimately falls into the trap of cliché storytelling, making it a missed opportunity.

I don't think I have ever given 1 star ever to a movie but this one forced me. Parmish verma being actor , director, producer himself could be so dumb is beyond me. He has committed a sin of thinking that his audience is dumb.

And when a person takes his audience for granted its a matter of time before his horse race of fame is over.

There is absolutely no story, no character arc, no screenplay. For first 18 minutes you see only 3 scenes of character drinking for next 40 you see a nothing burger story which surely is not love story and remaining is a dumb conclusion.

It's high time that writer director should pack their bags and leave and let real talent make movies.

Totally time waste . No direction . No ending.
