Rapture: Nimbus Reborn

This film is a pseudo-sequel to The Mighty Nimbus: Live by the Sword, a YouTube short film that the creators made as teenagers. Sebastian Blade and The Auditor were recast but George Hobart appears in both as Ronald Fireheart. The events of the first film were covered and recontextualised in a one minute animated short, Prelude to Rapture: Birth of Nimbus, rendering the first film essentially unnecessary and mostly non-canon to Rapture's world.

If you look very carefully at the footage broadcast to the city of Nimbus standing over the Auditor, the shot features loose script pages, a microphone stand, visible light and a can of ginger beer all in one shot.

Almost all the crew credits are fake names, referencing some of the filmmakers who inspired the film. Fake credits are: DOP Cam Raman (pronounced 'Cameraman') Costumes by Edith Foot (like Edith Head, famous costume designer), Sound Design by Jack Terry (the soundman John Travolta plays in Blow Out) & Harry Caul (soundman played by Gene Hackman in The Conversation), VFX Supervisor Riki-Oh (a straight reference to Riki-Oh: The Story of Ricky), Choreography by Bob Fozzy (like choreographer/director Bob Fosse) & Godfrey Hoe (like hokey ninja movie director Godfrey Ho), Special Effects Prosthetics by Prosthetics Artist (a deep cut reference to a missing credit in Zombies: The Beginning) and VFX Artists Ari Castell (like Enzo Castellari), Surge E. O'Corbucci (like Sergio Corbucci) & Gordon Stuart (like Stuart Gordon).
