Chances Are

Easy to be critic about this film, at first sight pathetic or predictable or too sentimental. But the acting is not bad, the story is decent and the twist - just expected. And few scenes are just sweet , like the sketch of frustrations, the good thief portrait , the way to craft her Carolyne by Kathy Biehl. And, I suppose, this details matters.

A film about choices, survive and kindness. About art in some measure. Indeed, the air of soap opera is present but fair used.

Two friends , looking for money , becomes thieves in subway. The victim- an receptionist of a health clinic. One of them discovers the picture of a boy in the stuffs of lady and returns the bag and objects. This is beginning of beautiful encounter.

In short, a seductive short film, with touching sparkles.
