Mr. Follavoine - a porcelain manufacturer - seeks to sell unbreakable chamber pots to the French army. In an attempt to close the deal, he invites Chouilloux - an influential Ministry official - for a business lunch at his home. These very important negotiations are soon developing into a farce.
