Ceinture

One day, the director discovers magnificent leather creations behind a window. He realizes that the store is actually a workshop where a woman works. He enters but she is so focused on her work that she does not pay attention to him. Scratched by her indifference, the director's ego tries to compete with this woman's passion. In vain, he will have to wait until she has finished her work for her to open up to him. After finding his own reaction totally stupid, the director thinks back on this situation and decides to make a film about it. The next day, he returns to the store and suggests to the craftswoman to write a story that he wants to film in this store. Embarrassed and surprised, she accepts. They have since become friends and the maroquinier is the technical advisor for this film which will have been shot a few years after their first meeting.
