I Still Can't Believe an Anime About Horse Girls Racing Have That Good Of An Animation Cygames Pictures Is a New Studio That's Been Producing Really High Quality Shows It's Quite Impressive Really, Cinderella Gray Is Definitely The Best Anime In The Uma Musume Pretty Derby Series, This Anime Follows The Story About a Horse Girl Named Oguri Cap Who Was Born With a Weak Body But Decided To Enter a Championship For Horse Girls Racing Because She Loves Racing Her Mother Used To Give Her Messages When She Was a Kid So She Can Achieve Her Dream Of Becoming The Fastest Horse Girl, This Show Have a Lot Of Character Development Which Is Very Cool.

1. The characters are wonderful, each in their own way, but I was especially captivated by our star Oguri, she's the cutest thing ever! Those cheeks of hers when she eats are so adorable. And the other girls are wonderful too. Take Berno Light, for example, who, knowing a thing or two about shoes and horseshoes, lovingly helps and repairs Oguri's shoes-it's such a touching act of care! Poor thing, Oguri nearly broke her back several times.

2. The anime is truly good. The visual style and musical score create the right atmosphere, and the animation here is definitely a cut above most titles coming out at the time.

From being nothing, even incapable of walking as a child, to becoming the peak of racing that others strive to be. Cinderella Gray is undoubtedly an incredible story, with lovable characters, a new and unique artstyle, and great animation. Even though the series may seem short for the time being, we've only covered the first 3 novels with season 1's two parts, we still have another 18 novels that need to be adapted as of writing this review. I simply cannot wait for the next season of Cinderella Gray to release. Like I mentioned earlier, from being nothing, to a peak that others should strive to become, that perfectly describes Uma Musume. Uma Musume started out as a fairly unknown project, that only recently gained global traction, and now it grows by the minute, other animes should strive to have the level of storytelling and the apparent wholesomeness of community that Uma Musume has. Uma Musume: Cinderella Gray is absolute cinema.

Even though its shorter for the time being, I feel like this surpasses the original Umamusume series in terms of quality, not just in the animation, but also in the storytelling. The drama is a lot more palpable, characters are thrown into situations where they need to make surprisingly tough decisions, and it leads to bittersweet conclusions. It also has a much more grounded tone, it starts off with more humble races, and gradually makes its way into bigger ones very naturally, something that the original series didn't really pay too much attention to, partially because it all took place in the same area.

I will say that the peak of the original series still hasn't been surpassed for me, which imo is the Season 2 finale, and since the anime is based on irl horse-racing I hope that the stories that came out of Oguri Cap's career end up getting better, but even then, as a whole the quality is a lot more consistent all throughout the 13 episodes that are currently out, and I'm really looking foward to seeing what's next.
