Marc Maron: Panicked

I've already watched Panicked twice! I started watching Marc perform in the 80's in San Francisco and as cheesy as this is to say, Marc is like fine wine and his comedic timing and insights have gotten even better with age! Loved it!

My daughter who sadly doesn't laugh much watched the show with me the second time around and she laughed hard so many times, it was like a gift. Made me love the special even more!!!

I've been following Marin since the beginning and I watched every one of his specials and also saw him in concert a couple years ago.

In the past most of his routine has been very tragic stories of death and family and mental health and being Jewish. He was still funny but I think you had to be a certain age to get most of his jokes.

And panicked, Marin takes a break from his long detailed narratives and tells joke after joke after joke - 95% of which stick yhir landing.

And maybe just me but I see more of a shorter joke comic influence in this special and I have in his previous work.

Absolutely hilarious!

If you think it's too late to try something, you are wrong. I just watched this because it was late and it showed up highlighted. He had me right in the palm of his hand right off the bat. Challenge for the knuckle draggers: Watch the first 5 minutes!!

Long story short, this was brilliant.

Once again, Marc, you rocked it out of the park. I have fallen for a very long time. He has always been a hilarious true teller, and this stand-up special did not fail! I've watched the televised comedy specials. I've listened to his podcast for years and I'm very sad that he's gonna be ending the show soon, but this was something awesome that I've been looking forward to for a long time. It was great. It's hilarious. Watch it you won't regret it!

Probably the quickest I've ever switched anything off. I'm totally apolitical, don't even live in the country concerned, but to hear him right out of the gate just throwing bones to a baying crowd desperate to hear the predictable slurs and insults (not jokes) that he dutifully delivered, well, that was enough for me. It's not comedy, it's people in a room loudly agreeing with each other and presumably paying a lot of money to hear a guy telling them the things they believe. In a way, I'm sorry I didn't continue, as I'd love to have heard his views on 10/7 and what was done to his brothers and sisters.
