Johnny Vegas' Little Shop of Antiques

I think if you get qwerky, kitch, obscure and sometimes frankly odd stuff then you are absolutely going to love this show! Johnny & Bev make a great team and the treasures they uncover are marvellous (never going to top thirsty bear!). I'm going to re watch the series several times and I hope and prey to the TV gods a second series comes along. Honest, genuine, unscripted and raw this program Shows a very different side to Johnny and his absolute passion shines through.

I love Johnny Vegas and I would watch him in just about anything. But when you're watching him just be a person, it gets to be a little much. This is hour after hour of his thoughts about whether or not he'll be successful as an antique dealer. He seems constantly offended by his assistant who seems to be the nicest person on Earth.

I mean it's a pop-up, he seems to have worked steady most of his life so I'm not sure there's a lot at stake and if 90% of the show is him saying, "I wonder if I can do this" And it's a 45-minute episode, you watch him tell his assistant that he doesn't need her help and you find out more than that he made $5. I'm not really sure it's a TV show.
