This could have been so good. Suranne Jones as PM great, but then the slide begins with every step of this ridiculous story. No MI6 or MI 5 or SAS etc. These days shows like Diplomat and others from Netflix want to solve everything with bunch of inexperienced people around the main character. Realism is far from the story tellers minds, even Slow Horses and Dept Q with their inexperienced team are all Rambos and no need for others to help. In the case of this show, the future of Britain and France are at stake, but hey ho no need for the specialists to come in and help. British shows are becoming more and more Americanised with dumb story line and acting, roll on Marvel.

I very rarely review but when I saw 5.9 from others it was almost enough to not watch, glad I did. My wife and I both gave it 8. A very good story that moved along well without being ridiculous, it was plausible and entertaining which is why we watch good thrillers. Well done to the actors. Hope there is a second series. Why the low score, doesn't make sense!
