Like all his movies, this movie is a trick. It makes a good point, but it only takes about 5 to 10 minutes to do it. After that it is just more of the same. You cannot call it a movie.

Under the Skin is the same. Once you see the space vampire take down a victim, there is nothing else. We just wander around for the next hour and a half and see the murder repeated a few more times with different victims. It's just not a movie it takes no talent to make.

Don't get me wrong. She was funny as hell too. The script was excellent. The plot was perfect for comedy, and they milked it for all it was worth. Everyone had great lines.

I laughed out loud a lot. And I cringed quite a bit too. They really did go too far, often.

Kate Hudson stole the show though. She played the gorgeous blonde, but she was no dumb blonde. She was smart and she knew it. She gave as good as she got. She had the alpha-predator and every man in the audience panting. She was sexy.

I'm going to go watch her again right now.
