What a waste of time! I tried & tried to get into this movie but zoned out before I could get the jist of what was actually going on. It felt like it was made to be overly complex just to flex some psychological muscle but in doing it made the story impossible to follow. None, I repeat, none of these characters are likeable or engaging, just detached & quite insipid. The storyline flipped flopped with weak twists which tried to cover the lack of a comprehensible story. The disturbing appearance of Nicolas Cafe in the worst possible makeup imaginable just sealed the deal for me & what the heck was that ending about? Who knows?
I felt like this movie was trying to imitated 'Blackcoat's Daughter' but not falling way short of the mark. It's a big pan from me.

This is a beautiful, touching, very real story about a remarkably humble & determined woman. Her journey is often tough & calls for her to dig deep for the resources she needs for her & her family to survive; in doing so she discovers she thrives & conquers on those challenges. Her story is an inspiration for women of every circumstance, demonstrating that resourcefulness & sheer determination are necessary to transform one's existence. Lharkpa, you are amazing.🙏
The documentary itself, is excellently shot, in what must arguably be, the world's most beautiful location & is most sensitively allowed to unwind with her own personal narration. Inspirational story told excellently, job well done🙏
Yet another example of a super hyped pile of rubbish failing to deliver. I simply can't pan this enough! It's so dramatically intense with a flimsy storyline & a cast of thousands trying to give it their all. The hammy delivery is just way too over the top. The characters act inconsistently to their original portrayal in an attempt to carry this waning story but to no avail. The histrionics & melodramatic platitudes got the best of me by the end. By Season 2, Episode 2 I just had to throw my hands up in the air in disbelief & walk way. How could I get suckered in yet again by the one who devised 'Lost'? It is an absolute waste of time trying to watch the guff. I implore you not to bother!
