I loved the first movie and I didn't exactly have high expectations but, with a star-studded cast, I did expect more.

Tbh it was pretty bad in my opinion - extremely far-fetched, cheesy, and underwhelming. I fell asleep halfway through it because I found it difficult to pay attention and when I finished it later, it definitely got worse instead of better.

I won't post spoilers but I was super disappointed with the plot twists and the added backstory. The writers could have made this movie SO much better but, nope. Unfortunately it felt like I was watching a low budget, cheesy lifetime movie.

I'm disappointed, I looooooved the first couple season of Emily in Paris but it's slowly gone downhill ever since.

WHAT THE HECK HAPPENED?

Season 4 is awful and I find myself cringing or bored. This show has definitely played itself out unless they change the formula entirely. At the very least they could introduce deeper character development.

I'm hanging by a thread and still have a few episodes to go before I finish season 4. I want to give it a fair chance to redeem itself before the finale but I can't barely handle the awkward cringe status the show has reached. It's a hamster wheel of the same things happening over and over. Flighty and shallow attitudes particularly annoy me so this show is quickly becoming one I won't watch anymore.
