I would say that the Bad Guys 2 is pretty similar in quality to the original Bad Guys film in 2022, and I enjoyed both to the same degree. It's a solid animated film, and the characters are really likable (Mr. Wolf and Mr. Shark in particular for me).

However, after the ending of the first Bad Guys movie, which turned the Bad Guys into Good Guys, I think the story and setting lost some of its charm. It would have been nice to explore that in more depth, but it also feels impossible to reverse. I quite liked the ending and would definitely watch a third installment.

I recently saw the live-action How to Train Your Dragon in the theater, and was super surprised by how good it was. I really enjoyed the original HTTYD, and came to the theater with low expectations, as most live-action remakes of the classic animated movies sucked recently. However, this film was really good and in my opinion far better than the original. A movie like this benefited greatly from the advancements in technology since the release of the original, and I am hoping that there will be a sequel!

I loved Superman! I was not a big fan of the DCEU, with Henry Cavill's superman, though I didn't hate it either. However, this Superman marks the live-action start of the DCU, which I am super excited for.

I think because of the strong start that James Gunn has with superman, the DCU has the potential to be better than the MCU ever was, a very exciting possibility for me because I personally like DC superhero characters more than the Marvel ones.

Most of the haters of this film at big fans of Cavill's superman, but aside from that group, it is across-the-board a really strong superhero movie, rivaled only by a select few Batman films or possibly Spider Man movies.
