The story line off this film is actually really good, and it's the only reason I watched the whole way through. The leads acting wasn't the worst I've seen but the friend... Wow... His tone off voice didn't change once, not to mention the huge delays between words like he was reading off a script in front off him. The other huge problem is that the graphics special effects and cgi are the 2nd worse I've ever seen and I've watched some poor films. It's essentially all cgi, there are people floating as they walk, gaps in the frame like a really bad photoshop job, I'm pretty sure this was filmed all in one room and the actors were never in that room together as can be seen in the few shots that they 'appear together' as you can see the overlay.

This film started off strong and had me ready for a great story but it just unfortunately falls flat about 20mins in. Most off the film is off people standing about thinking, very little action, and was very slow moving. The story line could have been so much better. The film leaves alot off unanswered questions and never really shows what the alien life is.... It ends abruptly again with no real explanation. It's definitely not the worst movie I've seen but just could have been more. It felt like was watching the film in slow mode, and parts off the special effects were not great. I wouldn't recommend not watching but if your looking for a disaster movie with action this just really isnt it.

This was a surprisingly good movie! Yes alot is shot in 1st person and it takes a while to get used to that but apart from that it was good. The story line was great, acting good and the special effects were awesome. I cannot understand the bad reviews at all! Yes the 'science' may not be fully explained or accurate but it's a movie....... Most off these types off films are not scientifically accurate! If you want an enjoyable movie with lots off great special effects this is for you, if you a perfect, scientifically accurate movie then don't watch these kinds off movies, watch documentaries or something.
