As a big fan of The Traitors, I was curious to see what The Inheritance had to offer. Unfortunately, it hasn't really grabbed me. It feels like an attempt by Channel 4 to replicate the success of The Traitors - however, the concept is so similar that it comes across as stale, especially for a brand new show.

The positives are there: the cast is likable, the filming quality is solid, and the challenges so far have been okay. But these strengths aren't enough to lift it. The gameplay feels flat, the tension never builds in the same way, and ultimately it comes across as a duller version of The Traitors in my view.

If you enjoyed The Traitors, you might find The Inheritance interesting enough to give a try, but in my view it lacks the spark and suspense that made the original so compelling. For me, it was worth a look, but I won't be continuing with it.
