This is one of the most boring movies I've ever seen. Scene after scene of nothing and more nothing. This is a 20 minute story stretched to 2 hours. It's excruciating.

It's not horrible from a technical perspective. But any good is overridden by the complete waste of time that is this movie.

I know everyone likes different things, but I feel bad for anyone who likes this. A movie has the potential to be so much. Red Rooms uses about 2% of the potential a movie can have.

Am I the only person who wanted to see a stand up comedy special featuring Chris Rock and Kevin Hart? I turned it on thinking that's what it was, only for me to come to the realization it's an documentary about doing a stand up special. Why would we want that?

I figured it might still be funny but I wasn't laughing at all so I quit after only seven minutes.

This show has an interesting premise and some funny scenes. But it's at its best when it builds up juicy drama and scenarios of escalated danger. It has some great cliffhangers that make you want to keep going.

That's the case with season 1. Season 2 is a big drop off for the first half before it starts getting juicy in the second half. And then it just ends without any real conclusion or resolution. It's frustrating to be left hanging like this. So even though I enjoyed the show, I can't recommend it and would not watch it again.

Season 1: 7 stars.

Season 2: 5 stars.
