The premise seemed very interesting.

A cool protagonist and mysterious circumstances allow for plottwist that work. I was hooked from minute 1. But then, it inevitably became more predictable.

The plot seems cool. They live in a campus as highschool students and get way more money for every month than they could possibly need. But not all is as it seems. Sounds good? Should be... but the focus of the anime is by no means its story. Its the "girls":

First the gloomy girl. Sure, an old anime trope but ok. Then the "happy go lucky" girl also seeking out the MC for no reason what so ever. Okay.... Less interesting.

But starting episode 2 the fanservice, butt shots, slow body shots showing girl party and breast zoom ins start to pile up. They serve NO plot point. And of course other girls come in and you have the classic anime harem with more than 3 girls (Stopped at number 3) fawning over the very much overpowered main character. Do yourself a favour and give this a pass.

I was hoping for some nice archery action show and this sort of delivered. Sure, Hawkeye is just the no. 2 in this show and that was the first disappointment. But the main thing that dragged the show down in my eyes was the level of cheesiness. All characters are pretty much 1 or 2 dimensional and all the lines are just so predictable. No really feeling of drama even though the story is supposed to be dramatic.

It IS a show for children. 105% for children. Which is a shame because Hawkeye as a character seemed to be one the more adult ones. It should be called "The Kate Bishop Show feat. Hawkeye" and it is a show about a girl whos character is 100% 14 year old girl put in the body of a "22 year old" (as if..). Not a single character trait about her makes the proclaimed age believable. Too bad! Could have been great.
